Hey, note for the video editor: please mix the host's audio into mono; or at very least reduce the stereo width. Not only it's distracting because the interview audio cuts to mono and then back to stereo when the host talks, but it's considerably louder on the right channel, probably due to the recording environment. :)

Now there are between 10 to 15 million in North America. They are a fantastic solution for flash flooding, climate change, and wildfires. They help clean our water by supporting riparian species of plants. More beavers please.

I like the parts in your videos where you implement indiginous arguments in a moderative way. Or to be more general, I like that you argue non-histerical about most things. It is sometimes hard to point something out without getting loud or unhealthy harsh. Keep up the moderated work :*

In many places it is illegal to impede the flow of any waterway. This includes tiny seasonal streams. In many ways I can understand and accept why these laws are there. However, these laws mean that it is also illegal for people to keep those tiny seasonal streams from gouging deep waterbeds into the land, causing the nearby soil to weaken and give out. These streams also carry away huge amounts of topsoil, causing the land to become nutrient poor, and the oceans to gain toxic levels of mineralization at the mouths of where these streams enter and killing off native sea life. Finally, these streams rush water away from the land, causing the water ton not remain long enough for the local aquifers to recharge, and causing risks of flash flooding downstream. Since it is illegal for humans to help slow these streams in any way, it is essential that we bring in some form of "nature" to "legally" do this task. Beavers fit this bill wonderfully. Since their return in the 1990s, many other species are returning, now that their habitats are being restored by the beavers.
