Bindi Johal was born as Bhupinder Singh Takhar in village Shankar, Tehsil Nakodar, Distt Jalandhar, Punjab. He was adopted by his aunt & her husband who were living in Jandiala Manjaki town. That’s how Bindi had the surname Johal. They migrated to Canada when Bindi was 3 years old. I also belong to village Shankar. So I know the history.

During that time I was in Surrey , Bindy Johal was wannabe gangsta , but he played snitch so he got snitched, Big Jim was a drug dealer rather than gangster , all of them including Kahlon wound up dead
@DB-ss5vu
Жыл бұрын
Although I'm biased against Bindy, because I dealt with both the Dosanjh's when I did auto parts delivery, I wouldn't say he was a wannabe at all. He had a lot of qualities of a real gangster and the guy was brave and brazen. Instead of guns all the time, he was the knock a guy out with fists type. He was a in your face type. Jimmy was a multi talented individual. Dealer yes, but also body guard, hitter for hire, enforcer, collected debts for an asian gang as well. He roughed guys up all the time. But who'd stand in his way he was a skyscraper.

Why haven't you made any videos on the most violent gangs in India.....BJPEE....RSS...SHIV SENA who have been involved in riots, choas and murder for hire for over 60 years! Or the rise of hindu nationalist gangs looking for a hindurastra? I would love to hear your thoughts or "deep understanding" on right wing nationalist movement or are you only here to demonize punjab and punjabis?

@@hungama2492 Respectively that's no excuse, many of us in Western countries faced racism in the 60' 70' and 80's. You can stand up to bullies without committing criminal acts. Also Punjabis are killing Punjabis, quite embarrassing don't you think.

The origins of desi gangsters 1. Racism 2. Social Inferior complexity 3. 1st generation broken families (parents working long hours) 4. 1980-90 with rise of gangs in US and hip hop, punjabi youth had no idols so they took these gangsters as idols to hit in the hip hop and gang culture of north america.

Very well said. Best and most thoughtful comment so far. When the spanish/fijians/brown guys formed Towa or what ever it was called (before it became Los Diablos I think??) in East Van, they were getting a lot of racism from the "canadian" gangs and were singled out and picked on by racist folks....Then these guys all banded together and protected one another. Clark park boys I think were a pretty tough crowd but when Los Diablos and the spanish and indo guys fijians came around it was a whole new level.
