Notes from the video: FULL STACK: FOUNDATIONAL LAYERS... 1. **MENTAL AWARENESS:** - SELF-AWARENESS: Aware of yourself and the pattern of your thoughts. Third person view of yourself. - IDENTITY: Your self-image. Your images of yourself can be limiting or empowering. (Thinking you're not good at math) - BELIEF SYSTEMS: Your beliefs can be limiting or empowering. (Making money is bad) 2. **MENTAL COGNITION:** - 1PROBLEM SOLVING (methodologies, mental models, perspectives, frameworks) - THINK CRITICALLY - 1PRIORITIZE (many delay on mit and prioritize useless things) - SCHEDULING (upsides, downsides, effect horizon, priority, discarding if not important) - PLANNING - BREAKING INTO CHUNKS - DELEGATING - CONTINGENCIES - PATTERN RECOGNITION (solving patterns in own behavior, business, data, industry) 3. **BUSINESS PRINCIPLES:** - VALUES, BELIEFS AND PRINCIPLES OF HOW TO RUN BUSINESS (thinking from first principles, long term focused, customer obsession, long term cash flow etc) 4. **BUSINESS DISCIPLINES:** - ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, TAX, LAW, MARKETING, SALES, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT ETC... - SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE ALL FULL STACK (IN BUSINESS DISCIPLINES AS WELL) - Hires are mostly one discipline stacks so don't see the interconnectedness 5. **PROCESSES:** - Tools and skills of a business discipline IF YOU'RE FULL STACK YOU CAN DO THE WORK OF 30 PEOPLE BY YOURSELF AND MOVE 100 TIMES FASTER THAN THE THIRTY PEOPLE WOULD AS A TEAM. BILLIONAIRES ARE T SHAPED. BROAD KNOWLEDGE AND OBSESSIVE FOCUS ON ONE DISCIPLINE.

Sam. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video. You have taken multiple books, lessons, college degrees and years of research and put them into less than a 1-hr video. You should write a book based on this video. I would 100% buy it. To be able to break down the concepts you explained into chapter long lessons would be priceless information. And with this video you single handedly destroyed 99% of the “internet gurus” who only sell processes and tools. They KNOW the stack is not working and they prey on that. They know their market. They aim for people whose lower level stacks are flawed. And they upsell them ideas and more tools but never ever take the time to do what you just did for free. I will share this far and wide. Thank you. Subbed, liked.

Sam, this is the BEST video out here in KZitem about how billionaires think, in Novermber 2021 I decided to leave my corporate job because I already had various skills because of my path carreer (I've always had a different job, and learned different skills) but I always lacked sales, so I started on Life Insurance sales. I failed and got fired in 4 months because I couldn't hit a profitable market but I stuck in the sale department, thank god I had one of the best sales course with the Life Insurance company, I moved to real estate in my local town and it's been 4 months now too. No one taught how to get clients and be known by everyone, but I forced myself into learning and now thanks to a bunch of skills I've learned and as you say, I can interconnect those as a whole...I'm finally about to hit my first million dollars this year. You're very intelligent and I loved your eloquence, this is pure gold, I can't thank you enough.

Sam, I've been on KZitem since they started in 2004. This is the most informative and applicable video they have on their platform to date. It explains everything in life. This is how physiology and activity come together to get results. Not just humans but all living species. I'm going to link back to it many times while doing my blog posts because it explains why we do what we do and view things in life the way we do. A person can understand what you just showed us and dramatically transform their lives. Using the lego style building blocks for demonstration was genius too.

Hi Sam, I hope this video reaches a lot of people, I couldn't agree more with the message. I found your honest perspective on the fact that it's almost impossible to just delegate everything to freelance specialists totally refreshing. Fundamentally your point is that it takes brute force intelligence to be very successful in business, because a low IQ will prevent you from ever being full-stack. The unfortunate reality is that intelligence is general, not specific. The question is how do we augment the deeper parts of the stack as much as we can, with knowledge and training, I think.

It'll illuminate challenges that presently just leave me scratching my head. Like others here, I really appreciate your use of the blocks in illustration. Sam, I love the realness you have on camera. You show you genuinely care about really wanting people to understand. Sometimes the videos are too long, but redundancy is actually very good for the sub-conscience. As for the full-stack approach, it's so true. People often skip the foundations and want to jump straight to the tools and processes. While they might have some temporary successes, without the foundation, when technology changes, or when your niches grow organically and develops, you won't be able to keep up. And for some, are confused and fall into depression. When you truly know and understand the foundations, you don't feel stressed. So, the values of building a foundation is 1. to keep flexible, 2. to be faster to respond when challenges occur. 3. to avoid depression when things fail.
@godisgreat8445
6 жыл бұрын
As you said the subconsciousness gets overloaded. But I would say simple words are useless, but actionable step by step is more important. Keep flexible - means so many things, same with challenges and handling emotions. But earning money really don't require you to be full stack, you can compensate it by identifying your weaknesses and outsourcing to someone who can do better. It can be called flexible but it is not really. So the devil is in the details. I really wish this video was 100 hours long with the same intensity and depth. Don't mind the subconscious, it can adapt with repetition and practice.
@starogre

being full stack has its downsides though. it can be hard to find work if you're too much of a generalist. assuming you want to work for someone else (or have to at some point in your life)
@godisgreat8445

@@starogreyeah, you are right, he made the video for entrepreneurs and that is who he creates information products for. If you are an entrepreneur you have to have the foundations based on objective reality. So general knowledge gives us some clues about where and how to proceed for contingency plan. You also know how to approach a situation. But Sam missed out key processes like Triplica(For example: How to create the best possible optimum solution with the least amount of resources required that fulfills that objective), Metamorphosis, business negotiations (it is not marketing or selling), Joint venturing(he does that with Tai Lopez) etc, that is a business foundation too. Honestly you cannot be great at every process, you can only know just enough to get good results. It is funny because his entire business is based on Triplica and he did not mention it. He used key note and not some fancy software, just enough to get the most optimum solution. This coming generation and the future is based on Triplica.
@kalervo8749

@@starogre Could be true, but what Sam mentioned: successful people are full stack BUT also focused on one thing and being specialist in that, corporate structures, for instance. Very nice structure of the thought process :) However, the "proof of credibility & research" is too much... :) What is the essence? 8 minutes to get to it is weird for somebody who is aware of the concepts in the first 8 minutes. You could also give us a structure of the video as a process bar :) would help a lot in navigating the long video. But then why not split them in separate videos from a series :) Each video talks about 1 concept :) Seem like the optimal way how people learn :) I feel like you might be confusing "people not willing to learn" with "people are not believing what I tell them" :) Hope that helps :)

This would be the Best Morning ever, As I Strongly relate to this whole video. I am a Growth marketing consultant and Helping companies to set up a strong foundation of Teams mindset, Systems & Processes to execute the things that matter the most critically. this video will help me a lot, I used to follow the T-shape theory and I have experienced that out of 100 people, only 1-2 people follow the business strategies. Most people focus on learning Processes & Skills and paying hard-earned money, rather than focusing on solving a self-awareness problem and the ability to do something that starts with no resources, no tools. The only thing you need is a mindset to start. Great Share

Actually one of the best and clearest explanations I've seen on how important foundation is in everything.

Really impressive content! and I got different insights this time (2nd time) watching it compared to a few months ago! feedback: apparently there's this Life Principle that things work in 'steps' and 'levels': you have to step-by-step build the foundations of things like self-awareness, cognition, value-principles, before you can get to the 'higher layer' or 'later stage' thing. I'm wondering how does "having a vision/end goal" and "starting a first-step to take" fit into all this. As those things appear to be providing motivations both long-term (the vision) and short-term (the next step). Do things such as "vision" and "first step" serve at the 'cognition' or 'awareness' level, or they somehow fit as a 'stage 0' thing, before all other things are built? Would like to see that being addressed (or perhaps already) in another video. Thanks for the great analysis and insights!

Never left comments on KZitem, but I am amazed how this topic was structured. Perfect Michael Shumaher and Michael Jordan examples. This reminds me about my youth and passion in trying and learning all parts of aspects in every sector. Thats why millioners know and like changing oil in their Ferraries themselfs, they know how to hire people, they know how to cook but never cook 🍜🍕🍔, they know accounting, finance, IT, sales. This helped me to understand myself and answer many questions that I was questioning myself for so many years. Even my brain was mystery for myself. And it is true that this is never tought in schools apart from top cubic layers. Moreover bottom-basement layers: cognitive, principles and awarness could be given to kids from childhood by living and placing them into specific environment. Placing kids in best private schools, - later into Cambridge or MIT will provide them self confidence. As well kids' sport activities like football, golf, shooting etc in early life develops motivation, discipline, leadership, prioritisation - that became the base layer for other studies. It is true that in modern life universities teach only one discipline - this is good for country's economy as specialisation is the key tipping point in globalisation market. But as you mentioned for an individual it is best to know everyting and be a full stack and broad minded. Psyhology is also important. Risk assesment. Experience and good guide play vital part as example of success to copy and learn from.

So basically , you are teaching us the 3rd stack i.e. Business Principles through your videos and your company provides knowledge about 4th stack i.e. Business Disciplines and the 5th one too i.e. Processes n tools . Company's specialty is that they emphasize on your Mental Awareness and Cognition .
