I used to work for PayPal as a Protection Services Agent, and we we called just a created case a dispute, once a buyer or a seller decides to proceed with the case, it needs to be transitioned from a dispute into a claim. And that's exactly when PP takes the matter into their own hands. A dispute is just a beginning in this whole process. During a dispute the buyer and the seller contact each other and have a chance to resolve the matter on their own.

Awesome Christian, thanks for the PayPal mini lesson, seriously appreciate it! PayPal has saved my backside in a few transactions where sellers have tried to rip me off, always got my money back (and we're talking big money here). But I've heard the stories about them siding with buyers, so am always wary of selling. Great to know that I'm covered if my ducks are in order, and they always are! And it makes sense too, PayPal is one of the biggest companies in the world, so every transaction is basically a court case.

small nerdy correction guys, it was Hardy Rodenstock that sourced the Jefferson bottles (Koch bought them from third parties) - he pre-dates Rudy Kurniawan. the engraving on the bottle was done with a hand drill, that was one giveaway tell, also I think the carbon dated the wine. There were problems with the glue on some of Rudy's bottles alright (and things like selling a wine dated say 1936 when that producer only bought land in that appellation in 1982). It's a brilliant documentary. also the book Billionaires' Vinegar is worth a look - that covers the Rodenstock fake Jefferson (and other) bottles - one bought by a member of the Forbes family for 105,000 sterling.

New Rolls are obnoxious and gaudy! They say look at me I have money lol .. However a vintage rolls from the 60s all the way to the 90s, with wear and tear is a classic and shows class. Similar to when you see a brand new creamy keepall At the airport VS when you see vintage one with rich honey patina!! It tells a story and is classy without being braggadocious

Hi Nickel - I was being dramatic, I don’t Believe death is the appropriate penalty for theft. But, while we’re on the subject, I do, however, think the punishment for the worst forms of theft (born from greed and malice, as opposed to something more forgivable like survival , which should also be punished appropriately) should be rather extreme. Incarceration, for starters. And while incarceration might fulfill your debt to State, it’s not necessarily where it ends on a personal level. I, for one, think a good “lump up” could be quite in order. I might strive for better, but I understand I’ll fall very short of moral purity, which would allow me to love my assailant and maybe offer him lunch. And yes, as a Catholic, I believe that’s very human of me.
