11/10 content. After learning about marketing, consumer psychology and lots of things related to retails & consumers (esp. fashion & F&B), I also notice that every business having these marketing tricks. They are not only pushing consumers to purchase more items, but also more frequently, which (in)directly causes the massive pile of trashes, including plastic & technological waste. Making consumers poorer and poorer is one of the few visible consequences, there're still other invisible consequences related to mental health, ethics & more, which we as consumers never know.

I am reading Seth Godins - This is marketing and he mentions everything you said. People want to be part of a culture and you are the one leading them to it. Marketers are basically selling feelings, even if they are not true. If you can solve a problem someone is going through you are releasing a tension, and that is what makes people feel a way. Playing with people minds can be fun lol. People don't hop into internet and go "what am I going to buy today 🤔". Products meet them through their needs. The marketer finds a way to reach that person.

Kuyaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Kuyaaaaa Saaaam!! Thank you for sharing these eye openers and yeah we should watch out and always buy depending on what we actually need and not be swayed with these tactics. Its always good to stick with a list to buy and not deviate, plan ahead!! Complete agree that often they might not be harmful and sometimes branding is actually a good thing!! Lets buy based on our own research and qualitative values rather than our emotions!! You do look a bit sick kuyaaaa!! Get well soon, rest!! rest rest rest!! Sponsors! sponsooors! where you guise at!!!??
