A questioner says he felt a surge of inspiration and a feeling of ecstasy after a healing experience, but that the feeling soon faded away. What can he do to get back to feeling inspired again, without relying on external experiences, substances or relationships?
Rupert says something about this experience dissolved the obscuring layers of your mind and you got in touch with awareness, which is the source of all creativity. Your mind became transparent to that awareness and was flooded with its inherent creativity - that's what inspiration is. Some people go to extreme measures trying to free their minds of these limitations. They ruin their health by taking substances or they destroy their work to free their minds. Because if you've tasted that flow of creativity it's blissful, it's intoxicating. You think this is what it means to be alive - you want it at all costs.
But you don't have to go there through these means. You can go there just by going back again and again, behind the limitations of your mind, making contact with the presence of awareness and just being open to that.
