I had fish around 15 cm last september i putt them in a pond and in one year 2 of them are already around 45 cm with no feeding at all how is it that these fish who get food all the time grow slower? Give them space?

What are carp used for? Sorry for the ignorance, I'm just not sure why they are farmed. From what I've heard they're not great to eat.

In this instance, for catch-and-release fishing. It's very popular in the UK.

Carp is a consumptionfish, in many country like Germany/ Poland they will be eaten around Christmas instead of turkey.
