People say this all the time, I mean this literally, this is legit the fastest I've EVER clicked on a video, I'm a comedian myself, I love comedy, I'm a psycho about all of it and have searched for and watched so far most, if not all videos of comedians talking comedy, giving advice, talking about how they started, what their process is like, etc, so when I saw this pop up on my feed, I couldn't have been happier! Can't wait to see what a treat this is gonna be!

Saw Mark last week and he killed it. When i left i forgot to give my receipt so i turned back and saw him reading the board. Gracefully said yes to me asking for a picture and answered me when i asked if he had a tip for someone just starting to write comedy. Told me everything i already knew but it was amazong hearing him solidify it .really hope to get up soon and get some laughs

Mark is the best because he said arenas aren't for him. Comedy was always supposed to be an intimate experience.
@m0rtred

If that was true no one would go out to watch comedy live surrounded by hundreds of strangers. Who can only make the whole experience much worse for you, no matter what a stranger sitting next to you might do half-way throughout a comedy show it won't ever make your personal experience better than it already is.

I don't get how you can keep putting your head, mind and taught into creating something for so long and never advance, writhing jokes can't just happen mechanically a living, thinking being has to figure them out for them to actually work.. If i am thinking about jokes how can i make them even funnier, tinkering with them in my own head for as long as i want... I should be a beast in comedy and jokes just absolutely and completely undeniable .

Great content. Feels like I should be paying to watch this, and I'm not even trying to be a comedian! But Mark's advice and outlook are very inspiring. This is a guy who just grinded and grinded until he came... to the top. And no offense, but the fact that he's STILL continuously doing appearances at smaller podcasts and whoever wants to engage is showing that he's never settled in and coasted. This guy is the energy bunny of comedy

Mark Normand is a talented comedian, but the 'We Might Be Drunk' KZitem show feels a bit overexposed lately. While it's interesting to hear about the comedy industry, it would be great to mix things up with more diverse topics or fresh content. A little variety could help keep the show engaging and funny for a wider audience!

Actors are far more interesting than comedians. Saying Daniel day Lewis and DiCaprio don’t work as hard as comedians maybe the funniest thing Mark said. Actors just don’t crave the same validation as comedians and don’t need to do 18 podcasts to make a living. Cause their work has value. Most “comedy” podcast are just drivel at this point. As an ex-fan of Mark’s podcasts… he’s no exception… comedy!
