Ty Norris was actually a journalist prior to 1990. He left journalism for a job as the manager of media relations and event operations with RJ Reynolds in 1990. Dale Earnhardt then met Ty Norris in 1996 and he was given the job of Executive Vice President at Dale Earnhardt Inc. He was also Steve Park's spotter from 1998 - 1999, then became Dale Earnhardt, Jr's spotter when he ran for Rookie of the Year in 2000.

trackhouse can trace their origins to numerous organizations that've graced the nascar landscape. every team that was brought out by & merged with dei & ganassi lives on in spirit through thr's existence, like ginn racing, mb2 motorsports, darrell waltrip motorsports, tyler jet motorsports, & team sabco. the soul of this outfit can go back over 30 years. there simply isn't one in modern nascar that has so much history embedded in it, say for petty/gms motorsports & wood brothers racing. i think i speak for many people in saying that, trackhouse is a crown-jewel that has to be treasured by the fans. there's just way too much from the past that's lodged into the team for it to not even be respected at the least.

I think NASCAR should have a “What If” scenario mini series like the mini series “For All Mankind” but the mini series would be based on the drivers that either survived their fatal accidents or the accidents didn’t have to occur... I just wonder what the title would be called? Maybe “NASCAR Survives” I guarantee if this happens the third season would be about of course Dale Earnhardt... Here’s my NASCAR What If scenario season list: Remember this is my prediction and let me know if it sounds good or bad this is just my thoughts and theories... Season 1: Davey Allison Season 2: Alan Kulwicki Season 3: Dale Earnhardt Season 4: Adam Petty Season 5: Kenny Irwin Jr. Season 6: Neil Bonnett Season 7: Clifford Allison Season 8: Rodney Orr Season 9: Blaise Alexander Season 10: Joe Weatherly Season 11: Tiny Lund Season 12: Fireball Roberts Season 13: Tony Roper Season 14: John Nemechek Yes I know that Alan Kulwicki and Davey Allison’s fatal accidents were aviation accidents in 1993 but the question I ask is what if the aircraft accidents didn’t crash... Am I missing any? Let me know!

Former DEI cars the 8 (Currently owned by Richard Childress Racing & currently driven by Tyler Reddick) that car so far did pretty decent in the 2021 season and the 1 car (Sold to Trackhouse Racing by Chip Ganassi Racing and driven by Kurt Busch in the 2021 season now driven by Ross Chastain in the 2022 season) made it in the first half of the 2021 Playoffs thanks to Kurt Busch and as they go into 2022 with the Next Gen cars former DEI cars 1 and 8 I know are gonna do great. Even if a ghost of the 3 car (Currently driver by Austin Dillon) gets a comeback and wins a championship (In-which they won't but they have at least a chance...) I feel it could turn out great. But in all fairness with the rumor of JR Motorsports coming to the Cup Series I feel they could be a ghost of DEI with Dale Jr. currently being a team owner of JRM, running the Xfinity Series. And be a dominant faction within the sport. JR Motorsports I know could actually win another championship but this time, in the Cup Series.

I believe the DEI #1 can trace its roots back to the early 1990s when Terry Labonte drove the Skoal Classic Oldsmobile for Richard Jackson. If memory serves, Earnhardt bought that team for the owner points, but retained the number.
@randyrudynski7026
2 жыл бұрын
Dale didn't buy Richard Jackson's team or the points. They came to agreement on the number of the car. The number was originally 14 at DEI and Dale Earnhardt paid Jackson for the number 1. Steve Park actually had to qualify his way in for the races he attempted in early 1998. Which Steve Park only made two (Daytona 500 and Rockingham). He would fail to qualify for Las Vegas and he would get injured in practice at Atlanta before qualifying.

I disagree completely with this! DEI ended when Dale Junior left! Because DEI was made for Junior by his father! Now had Senior not died DEI would still be racing and Junior would have won at least 2 or 3 championships. Having you father killed at a race track that you race on year after year twice a year would make anyone rather sad and no competitive! Although junior did win big early on Teresa was the reason he stopped winning and never won a championship! Once he transferred to Hendrick Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus won everything and Junior didn't have a prayer! Having head injuries also stopped him from winning. Add that to the fact that kyle bush aka Little Flush constantly crashed junior because he was mad he was fired by Mr. H didn't help Junior either! So DEI ended when Junior left!
