Hi there. In our lab we tried ditching covering our teeth in putty in favour of using just using stone. The finished product was great except we had a problems with stone sticking to the margins. Have you ever experienced this? Any suggestions for how to prevent it? Is your stone topping 100% stone or is it a stone and plaster blend? Thanks!

Mix half stone half plaster. Sticking may occur if the separation wasn’t done correctly. If sticking should happen try to put the dentures in ultrasonic bath

You could after boil out but the problem is if you inject and forgot the separator as the acrylic will be stuck on the stone

@@WAXBAE Meaning at the dewaxing stage before injecting the acrylic, even I forgot to use separator, I'm still able to separate the flasks right? Just that it's a bit harder?

@@WAXBAE Meaning in my case where the acrylic is not yet applied and it's still in dewaxing stage, I still can separate the flask right even the separator is not applied? So sorry to ask but I'm too worried..
