B'H! Rabbi Josh, this resonates so powerfully with me. Just last week a good friend sent me a text to keep strong. The Beth Din wanted me to start davening at an English shul, so I moved away from the Chassidim to be closer to an English shul. It has been hard to pull myself away like that, but I have found a shul where I feel the same sense of belonging. B'H! Rabbi Akiva's strength in starting afresh, it's so inspiring. I'm too late in wishing a Happy Lag B'Omer, so instead I'll wish you an amazing start to the new week. Keep sticking to your message. Looking forward to the next one. A Gite Voch!

I'm not a Jew. But I have become a _Yechudi_ . I learned that it's not necessary to 'become' Jewish. All that's needed is to _be_ one. To quote your words: "That's my story and I'm sticking to it." 😉

Jews do not believe that the wider public need to become Jewish. Start with developing the personal relationship with God

Well, there's more to the story. It's more of a consequence than a punishment.
