Thank you very much, I watched multiple videos to understand the concept but they were not clear enough, this one is by the far the best.

Why is the access level that is given "Write" level, in the trusted account when creating the policy "AWS_AssumeRolePolicy" that is attached to the group called "AssumeRoleGroup". When the ARN that is used for the IAM policy (AWS_AssumeRolePolicy) is read only? Shouldn't the level that is given be "read"? And since it says "write" level then that means Alice's access should of been allowed when she attempted to make a call to the API Gate.

I cannot believe it was not possible to create a simpler system. This is like how NOKIA smartphones worked before the iPhone.

@@vinaykumar-xt2eq we were using Control tower where 1 master account can access other accounts created. When we created Control Tower it generated a role called "ControlTowerExecution" role, with the help of this role you can access cross accounts.

Hi, I am currently working on a college project for a company along with my batchmates. Our team has been provided client access to AWS workspace but has been given only one user id. How can we ensure that each member of the team can work on the code simultaneously while ensuring that this doesn't affect the work of the other individual? Is there any way to duplicate the contents of this workspace and add users? Or can I add different users to the same workspace? Right now the issue is that since there is only 1 login credential, only 1 person can access the workspace at a time. Please suggest alternatives. Can we do something about this ourselves or do we need to talk to the company which has admin credentials?

Hi, Akash! 👋 Each WorkSpace is assigned to a single user and cannot be shared by multiple users. By default, only one WorkSpace per user per directory is allowed. This doc has more info on this topic: go.aws/3QHmF3a. 🤓 Terribly sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you. 😔 ^RF

@@awssupport Hi, in this link it is mentioned, that the admin can add or delete users. Can't this be done by our client company to allow multiple users access? If not, can't they create another instance of the contents of this workspace and create another user?

It would be best to pose this tech heavy query to our engineers and community of experts on our re:Post platform. 🤓 You can do so, here: go.aws/aws-repost. ✍️ ^RF
