Attack the hands is a common way in Filipino Martial Arts, so I do this in HEMA too.

Very nice! I suppose using a sword with better hand protection, or gauntlets would be a fourth way. Cheers

Love it! Why i aim for forearms in competition settings…. People go to party the hand but have been misled 😂

Sorry, it was a custom piece done by a friend. A similar item would be a Olympic Fencing Coach Chest protector

Number 4 is stab them in the throath, for being so stupid and placing an uncovered strike at a low priority target. In a tournament setting it's a way to tell the opponent: start doing something else or you'll lose. In a realistic and historical setting this risk factor might have made hand snipes less common then they are now (as wel as the fact that gloves present a way bigger target now and people fence in longpoint way too often).

You have no clue what are you talking about. It all comes to attack preparation. It is the same rule for whatever attack you are making, does not matter if shallow or deep target. Shit talk like this comes always from people who do not know how to handle tactically the fight. 20 years of HEMA and people are keep reapiting same shit all over again.
