Just wanted to say good on you for saving the ole girl a lot of work ahead but will be special...with the frames could you use as much of the old ones as possible and cut sheet metal and butt weld...sorry not much help and you prolly have thought of that

@@t.h.o.r. yes Trev blog here on KZitem pro body shop skills that he shows for the home garage. What make of heat proof paint do you use, it's hard finding durable paint for motorcycle exhausts. Latets

@@burtjohnson7298 prep is the key- Ive repainted may bike exhausts and it lasts only a few runs. this paint I use is USA made Eugene Oregon. Forrest paint co. if you sandblast or phosphoric acid etch the surface you get perfect results. I take it to700f regularly
