You beat them five years ago. The Chiefs have that Patriot way of changing on the fly as they need. It is honestly uncanny how much the Chiefs remind me of the Brady-led Pats. They were a high-flying splash play team but then Reek leaves and now they have to take the underneath and intermediate shit. Still won. Then they couldn’t get anyone to catch a damn thing so they lean on defense and still won. They may be reinventing themselves again this year! It’s looking like their best team yet with both a potentially explosive offense and lockdown defense. I know it’s annoying to non Chiefs fans right now but we will look back on these Chiefs years just like the Pats of old. With admiration and awe. It's easier for the Chiefs to win in general because the NFL has nerfed defense. Certain passes Brady would never throw for fear of his receiver being KO'd from the game, these throws can now be made. This is partly why RB's aren't getting big contracts anymore, to win in today's NFL you HAVE to throw. More passing, more passing TD's = more viewers. But that also means the quality of play has declined.
