I actually love to listen to music while taking the bus to school. The drive takes like 45 minutes or so and i can put my In-Ears in, look outside the window of the moving vehicle i'm sitting in and just relax. I don't care about the people around me and i can really focus on the music. I tend to think about stuff and kinda drift off into my own little world, what makes it even more awesome.

Alternatively, stick it on my ipod classic and listen through my ipod earphones (which are on the point of falling apart now that the wires have started to show) if I'm "on the go". Could you maybe share your thoughts on what it means to be an audiophile, or more specifically, how do you prefer to listen to music? How does a vinyl change the listening experience? Does an album belong on an mp3 format or something else? Do you prefer headphones, earbuds, or speakers? I know this seems like a collage of questions, but seeing how you call yourself a music nerd, how does a music nerd hear music? (shit that sounded redundant) Thanks for your videos; keep them going! When I'm not at home, I listen to music on my phone, so MP3 format, but I like buying physical CDs just to have them instead of only digital downloads. If I'm home, I stream my music from Spotify. I prefer ear buds over headphones, I have the $20 Skullcandy Ink'd ones, but I think they have pretty decent sound for their price. I listen to it every chance I get, whether I'm riding bike or walking home from school. But I love blasting it when no one's home and doing karaoke :D

I listen to music through my iPod mostly, I have a nice big ass pair of Sony headphones that I sometimes bring to school and also a pair of sound cancelling earbuds. On occasion I'll listen to a record on my turntable usually with my big ass headphones cause my speakers arent so great.

I listen at home on a pair of bose speaks. In bed I usually peruse the net while listening on ear buds. My car radio is dead so I just sing in the car. At work it's a political struggle to turn it to a decent satellite radio channel over the tinny ceiling speakers. I'm not picky, I can't tell the difference between wav and mp3. I do like the ritual of buying a CD and listening to it while checking out the liner. There is something great about listening to vinyl but it's it's kind of a pain.

Grado SR80s or Klipsch SR4is through my Macbook Pro. MP3 (V0) or FLAC through iTunes or my Droid Incredible. I only use FLAC for archiving purposes or for converting into WAV to burn to CDs for my car's CD player. My car has a shitty stereo system.

..Glad this was asked because I've wondered how others do it. Personally, I like to do most listening from bit-for-bit .wav files, kept as a PCM stream to my receiver, processed for room/speaker correction, then through a proper DAC to transfer it through the amps/speakers to my ears. :) Could go on and on about that, so otherwise I listen through a variety of mediums, especially on the move.

When I'm cleaning I play music through my macbook and when I'm in the car I listen to cds. When I'm taking a bath or shower or getting ready I listen to music through the speakers on my phone. When I'm in my room just laying in bed or whatever I'm doing I generally listen to vinyl.
