Thanks Robert, this is a really good tutorial. Good pace and content - and I feel more confident to go and explore GarageBand. Great stuff.

Hey, your good at explaining things in a clear and precise manner, so people can actually understand what it is your telling them. Not alway's the case on KZitem. I award you a Gold Star.

Got stuck with a kidney failure a few years ago, so I haven't been able to play the guitar in a few years. This isn't exactly the same as the real deal, but it's pretty nice for someone like me who can't get the real thing anymore. Plus, it lets me "play" instruments I couldn't before. I'm even considering making videos on youtube with my songs. :-)

The external button is nothing more than a sales button. It takes you to the app store to sell you another piece of software that doesn’t work with external instruments either.

Actually on a 12.9” iPad Pro it gives you more chords on the right side of the diminished b chord...the smaller older iPads don’t have that option. You can’t add more chords than your screen width can allow...only change chords

+Cameron Wilson At this time, garage band does not allow you to use the instrument and view the loop tracks at the same time. You have to switch back-and-forth.

Limited chords. Too bad you can't create your own chords to insert to list.
