Nice explanation of the fuel cap .The cap is a pressure-vacvum cap Most cars have a positive pressure when the cap is opened . My car used to also have a positive pressure and hiss when the cap would be opened . Lately i noticed it has no pressure , and I get smell of gasoline in my car . So wondering if it is related to the fuel cap . Do let me know your thoughts ... Thanks again

Thanks for sharing sir great video. Now I understand better how this fuel cap works. It allows air in as you explained which equalizes the pressure and vacuum. yes?

Not sure about the Philippines, but in most of the developed world gasoline fuel tanks have an evaporative emission system. Which means the tank is sealed. And vapors go through a charcoal canister. The reason for this is so that fuel vapors do not escape into the atmosphere. That is a large source of pollution and this way stops that. The engine computer controls when the system is purging or sealed or open

Bro he is right i have researched that gas cap only allow one way fresh air if vaccum in tank which is filtered before entry in tank and gas vapour pressure is released from gas tank by charcoal canister. Yoy may watch kzitem.info/news/bejne/sIV_m6uOa56ofX4

Sir, Can you please tell me how the power of glow plugs shut off of 4d56? A vlogger told me that it comes from the temperature sensor which has two functions: monitor and temp sensor that cuts power to the glow plugs. Since the temp sensor is submerged in the coolant, how much is the coolant temperature so that it activates the sensor so that it shuts off the power for the glow plugs?
