We found a pittie on the side of the road. Took her in. My dad was like, no that’s a pitbull. Then my mom showed him where she was laying. All four of us kids were laying with her cuddles up. We played all of that. My dad sighed and was like fine. Then her owner found out we found her. Took her back. We then found out he was abusing her. Hit her with a shovel. Messed up shit. She ran away again.y dad refused to give her back. The owner was like whatever and he left. She was like a mom to me. Every night she would take me to bed. Waited until I fell asleep then she wondered the house making sure everything was okay. I would spend hours just playing with her. We played dress up and all kind of stuff. My mom made sure she wasn’t aggressive. You could play with her ears nose mouth even little 4 year old me had grabbed her tail. She didn’t growl. She became protective of me. No one would mess with me. She was an angel. We were losing our house and moving in with my aunt in a different state. She wouldn’t let us bring our dogs. Maggie growled at the shelter we had to giver up to. Someone got too close to me. She was instantly put down. We found out when the papers were signed. We realized we just signed for her to die. To this day I’m still hear broken. I’m 21. We had her until I was five. But oddly enough I remember playing with her. It’s faint but I do.

@@ollieishere4122 I am so sorry to hear about her ending. Please know that you gave her the best life she had. It is horrible how people believe that once a dog bites someone and draws blood that they need to be out down. It is sad when the dog is just protecting someone, like you when you were young, and the same thing applies. And before anyone gets their panties in a twist over my comment about them drawing blood and needing to be put down, it isn't true. I did something, upset my dog and caused him to lash out at me aggressively. I am very sure he had the taste of my blood. It was my fault. Yes, he did bite and caused me to bleed. Probably should have gotten stitches. I have the scars to prove it happened. I also have the dog to prove that they aren't vicious from the taste of blood. The most vicious thing he does, is beat us up with his tail because he is super happy. Some dogs do need to be put down, yes. But they should go through evaluation first to see if it is really the temperament of the dog, or it was something that happened due to something out of the dog's control and they were protecting themselves or someone else. Again, sorry for the loss of that furbaby. At least they aren't suffering in pain. It isn't right what happened.

The border collie one is so accurate. I have a border collie and her name is Jade. She's an absolute angel, not to mention terrible at sneaking. The mailman has gotten used to it and let's her get to him every time then gives her one of treats I leave by the front door. Then she comes running inside like "I did it, Momma! I scared the guy outside! Are you proud of me?" As sweet as she is, instead of barking, she whines. She sometimes sounds like a kettle. She's the sweetest little ball of floof and wouldn't hurt a fly.

@@indura5267Bro, have you even ever been around a poodle? Standards are as big and intelligent as most other gundogs, and the mini/toys are more aggressive than the black GSDs my granddad bred. @@indura5267 all dogs can be guard dogs if trained to be that way, and a dog doesnt need to be aggressive to be a guard dog.... I've had multiple dogs that acted like snuggly lap dogs, but because of their love for me would protect me at all cost when a situation arose, my husky mix tried to attack my husband's cousin for walking into the home without knocking, my rotti chased off a Timberwolf from the yard while I was outside, and my current Olde English Bulldogge will push me out of the way or stand overtop me to protect me....
