India is home to several tribal communities with each having a rich repertoire of flavours. Natural and nutritious forest food is what tribal have been dependent on since ages. Cooked with very few spices and mostly had raw, semi cooked, roasted or fermented, the tribal dishes preserve the flavours of the ingredients. Today we are taking you to a small village in dense forest of Bastar. Here we cooked Basta (Dry Bamboo) with a Gond family.
