I was dumb enough to do belladonna as a teenager, was extremely lucky not to go into full trip (can't predict alkaloid content based on the amount of consumed material). I went to sleep while having shadows run on my walls and something grabbing my leg. I guess i was high enough not to find it scary. It was actually magical as fuck, i felt deep connection with the kind of energy it had. I wish it was possible to do it safely and without being blind for two days afterwards, i would do that dose all the time. I liked it more than shrooms, and i never even had a bad time on shrooms.

I smoked scopolamine once which is the active compound in datura. For the next 24-36 hours I was scurrying around my house fully convinced there were spies watching me from the roofs of neighbouring houses, I could hear them on my own roof and stayed away from windows so they couldn’t watch me. Then I started seeing my ex girlfriend who left me months ago watching me from around all the corners and doors of the house grinning manically but she would disappear when I went to look. I had several panic attacks and cried from relief when it wore off and I realised I was tripping. But I didn’t realise any of it was a hallucination during the experience. Horrifying stuff

My ex husband and his friends made tea from the root when he was a teenager, camping at hot springs in the desert. To make a VERY long and detailed story short, it’s a miracle he survived, and one of his camp mates didn’t. 😔 My ex wandered off alone in the desert, following an imaginary friend. He almost drowned in an irrigation canal, following the instruction of the imaginary friend. He saw nuclear war heads, was surrounded by a large group of evil wizards that told him he didn’t belong there, and nearly froze to death because he was soaking wet, lost in the desert at night…. Demons with orange eyes watched him all night, perched in mesquite trees. It goes on and on…. When the sun rose, he spotted his camp, incredibly, and cops were there, collecting the body of one of his camp mates. The guy had drowned in 3 feet of water, fighting an invisible entity. Everyone had been in their own delirious state, and two had seen the guy fighting nothing, but they were so messed up themselves that they just went in their tent and left him to fight it. Stay away from Datura. It’s always evil.

I totally agree on the point of NOT taking a walk after doing psychedelics, here is a complete account of what I experienced after eating 5g of psilocybin mushrooms: I took my clothes off. And grapped 200 kr and the key-chip for the front door. I walked down the stairs. I went out into the street. Nodded to a few people that were passing. Went to Cantino’s that is just on the corner from where I live. Standing in the door I waved my 200 kr note and asked if I could get a vegetarian pizza. The answer was no. I went to the traffic light. Waited until it was green. Walked across the street. Nodded to a few of the people in the cars waiting for me to cross the street. A guy was shouting very loudly from behind. He said that I ‘should take on some clothes’. He was quite rude. I politely said that I would not do what he suggested. He got more rude to the point where I had to raise my voice and say to him that he should not threaten me. He said I have a little dick (which may or may not be true). I said to him (knowing that I could not be certain), that it was bigger than his and told him to drop his pants to find out. He refused. I asked him his name. He refused to answer, and was again rude. I walked a little further on the street. A police car stopped by. Two polite officers asked me what I was doing. I said to them that I was going to buy a pizza. They asked me why I had no clothes on. I said that I just decided not to bring it. They said I had to be dressed in public. I said OK. They offered me a ride home. I said thank you. When following me all the way to my stairs in my hall way, they again said I had to be dressed when walking out. I said OK. I went inside and put on boxershort + shorts. Brought my 200 kr note and went outside again. Went to buy my pizza. Got home and ate my pizza. End of story. Have a nice day.

I had some skin contact with something potent when i was about 12 years old growing up in Vermont that was likely datura. There were old wagon roads i would follow along side a ditch where would hunt for old bottles then down into a steep valley was a beaver pond and the remains of an old farmhouse from the 1800's that was just a stone foundation. Growing in this was hundreds of black berry bushes and other plants. I would always grab some early in the morning during. I would roam barefoot and without a shirt and bushwhack with an old antique sickle hacking random plants to make the trail better to the raspberries.. i was usually cut up from thorns and getting bit by mosquitos and bloody, it's just how i wilded out as a kid with no neighborhood kids to hang with. I got tired and confused and it felt like a tremendous weight was on me. i was being pushed around by things i could not see. I was hot and cold at the same time and sacred and had to lay down. The experience was not colorful with images. Just me trying to run back to my house and something dragging me into a marsh. I would get farther then get dragged back. sometimes i would jump and think i was floating threw the air only to get dragged back. Left at 10 am and was finally pounding on the door to my house around 11pm. My parents accused me lying to cover up that i got lost in the woods. Allot of time passed where i have no memory. I believed for many years in ghosts or maybe that spot was a native burial ground. When i was about 17 identified Datura growing along with allot of other medicinal plants. I have no desire to try datura, I feel it taught me enough for one lifetime. I avoided that spot for 5 years. I am 46 now and this must of been around 1986. to this day every time i have a nightmare it has that feeling of being dragged or pulled back. The experience is always there.

Any nightmares with paranormal activity i still feel the same feeling of being yanked back 50 yards to the same spot or pulled from house into the woods. The association is still there even though i know i accidentally poisoned myself. I must have been fighting to get up and finally got up when the affect wore off though i blacked out up until the point of trying to get into my house. it was like i teleported. lol I am not sure how it's hurt or helped in the long run. That shit opens up a personal portal to negative spirits and crazy unexplainable stuff happens like that trip report of someone's friend who was arrested, in cuffs and in the police car and next minute she was outside the car, cuff-free. Datura saved my life. I'd always been warned not to touch it and never wanted to. I was suicidal and was going for evening walks looking at places to hang myself and one night 100 metres ahead of me a row of Datura shrubs seamed illuminated, this happened for the next 3 nights until I decided this is happening for a reason. I picked a flower and 3 unopened buds and ate the flower. An hour later I felt sober and calm like I hadn't felt since pre depression (about 10 years). I dried out the flower buds and a month later when depression started creeping back in smoked them and felt better again. Now I smoke it every couple of months and no longer feel suicidal, I still have depression but no desire to kill myself. I wouldn't advice anyone to take it tho, it's one of nature's remedies that only exposes itself to those in need not those who go searching.

A buddy and I took some 17yrs ago. It also took a long time to kick in. We ended up going back home. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up in that dream like state, went up to my room and saw the ripples on my bed move like it where alive. then, I saw red glowing eyes and glowing sharp teeth in one of my closest and thought "nope, fuck this, I'm sleeping this off." My buddy on the outerhand said after he got home. The walls in his room turned to water and penguins started jumping out of them. He was institutionalized for a short time after that. @eminystoruk I recalled my own trip experience with dimenhydrinate listening to this too. Having conversations with people that vanished right in front of me mid chat. Had one vision of hundreds of people, that were not there, up the road from me while I walked across town in the middle of the night to where my gf was sleeping that night. But, they all went away after I ducked behind some bushes after I spotted them all. Just as I arrived outside of the house my gf was I saw a little 7 or 8 year old girl alone in the yard next door. I took her hand and was about to walk her a couple of blocks over to the police station. But, of course, she wasn't actually there either and vanished just like so many others on that walk. Pretty glad she disappeared before I made it to the police station. Pretty sure their company would have been far less comfortable than being with my gf. That was over 30 years ago, and not an experience I want to revisit.

you must love this plant but also respect it.. i used to do some tests about seeds potency.. one night after eating like 5 seeds i smoked a joint with dried flowers and cannabis. Nothing happened. I went to the bathroom and saw my dad on the couch staring at the floor. "dad what are you doing?". No response. I urinated, flushed and came back to the living room, he was still there, immobile, no answers... i went to bed. The next day i asked my father what was he doing on the couch during night. He said he was never there. Now, the thing that really scared the shit out of me is the fact the the hallucinations STAYED THERE. When you trip on lsd of psylo if you see something strange, turn away, and look back everything goes back to normal. Datura makes you question your sanity. I won't eat seeds again.. still smoking some LEAVES with cannabis for a relax, yoga and vivid dreams. But don't mess with seeds and flowers bois.

its mostly kids that wanna get high and have no option to get anything else. Too young to buy alcohol or weed (or weed is illegal where they live), shrooms or acid aren't available and in most cases they are really depressed. They don't inform themselves on the dangers or do not care, because they do not value their life. They either randomly stumble upon datura or similar plants, or get cough /allergy medicine that contains dxm, dph, or dmh. In the worst worst worst case they start huffing gasoline, computer duster or paint thinner. I know it is hard to believe that there is any drug more dangerous than datura, but huffing is easily the worst thing you can do to your brain and a lot more addictive.

I once had a psilocybin trip in combination with mao inhibiting seeds. I was away for thousand years and forgot who or even what I was, until I opened my eyes and saw my wife tripping on the couch. Then I was like a new born baby, only hearing myself breath. After that I looked at my arm and it was like I saw that strange thing for the first time. Though this might sound scary, it wasn't. Datura, however, I think I will stay away from. Last year it started to grow in my garden. First time I have seen this beautiful plant. Later that desert started to being violet - and in the sky, which resembled cosmos, there were several moons of different colors. I don't remember everything about that TR, but want to assure you there are some other freaking good Datura stories!

@@sorryeverafter523 that stuff actually reminds me of super vivid dreams I'd have when I was younger, they are rare nowadays though. As somebody who's only ever fucked with weed, the trippiest dream I ever had was in 2021-2022 and it was really crisp but very brief. I dreamed I was a colossal scorpion that was orange, made out of copper and brass, roped in red muscle, and I was literally wandering through the universe. But the universe was made out of clockwork, not really machine-like or tech, more old-fashioned and weird mechanisms, which comprised galaxies, stars, planets, solar systems, etc, all made out of intricate and interconnecting cogs and metal wiring, without electricity or force, just endlessly turning and ticking like clockwork. The dream itself survives because of how I remember it being so vivid, which in itself is extraordinary because most dreams fade and when important fragments you latch onto fade too, means there's nothing there that made an impression in the first place. But this particular dream was so profound and bizarre that it's almost fresh in my mind. It ended as it started, with me as this universe-sized scorpion crawling around and observing the strangeness everywhere, just coming to the edge of oblivion and then ceasing.

As an adventurer in nature, I had to try this. MY experience was enough for me to write it off. I only took a few seeds, and chewed them up. I had several hours of total discomfort where sitting was no good, neither was standing, or laying down! No good things noticed at all. I would say people should realize these types of plants, and mushrooms are not recreational, they are serious medicine.

Took about 5/7 seeds of datura that I had found growing behind my apartment complex at the time. Ended up having the best math lesson of my university years, I could visualize everything the professor was explaining. I got extremely lucky with the low dosage and had no side effects. It's too hard to dosage and too many side effects, don't do it kids

One of those drugs I read about on erowid as a pup and no matter how much I've wanted to get high I've always thought better of trying. The very best cases turn out neutral to slightly negative, so many end in jail, the hospital, or completely embarrassed. Don't do datura, kids.

There was a story in my High School about a group of teens that eaten “Jimson Weed” seeds to get high and all ended up hospitalized. One boy in particular was pointed out to me that had thought he was an ant and had eaten dirt and had to have his stomach pumped. I always thought that was either a huge exaggeration or just complete BS. Now I think it may have been true.

@@loganpennington9104 amanita is definetely not what I would personally recommend doing to anyone, but some very experienced users that know their stuff can get a more or less good experience out of it, so I wouldn't consider it to be in the same "nobody should ever do this" category as datura. It is very important though, to process the amanita, so that the ibutanic acid converts to muscimol. Otherwise it is indeed dangerous. Generally the dose makes a poison and datura is almost impossible to dose safely + it is linked to development of early dementia. The same category for me would be huffing gasoline, paint thinner or computer duster. You are literally getting high on killing your braincells with these...

I remember smoking datura... Don't have any memory of what happened for the next 8 hours but woke up with a mouth as dry as the desert and the worst headache, but apparently i was bumping into things, talking to walls and trying to eat things that aren't food... That said, datura can be used responsibly in the form of a salve (a flying ointment) in ceremonial contexts... It's just not going to be a pleasurable time

I have a Datura metel flower tattooed on my hand, Pretty flowers! I used a mead with datura once at a rave in my early 20's in some national park logging road, and false memories about situations can certainly persist for months, and you might only ever know they were fake if you have a friend to tell you what was really happening. I had maybe a working memory of 30 seconds at one point and forgot who my friends of many years were which made things difficult while they babysat me ( seeming like total strangers telling me what I can and can't do). It is essentially the same experience as using a whole bottle of motion sickness pills... Nothing to really take away from the experience other than "im glad im still alive in one piece and didn't hurt myself or others." You do shit without thinking about it in the same way the plot of a dream keeps pushing you without any controls. Stopping yourself from leaving a house or locking yourself in a room might literally be impossible if that is the story line its taking.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I was once given a bag of maybe 100 seeds, and I did a little research on them, so I was afraid. I took a few out of teenage desperation and boredom, and nothing happened. I probably did this a couple times, and kept the seeds in a drawer for a year or two. One day I threw them out. I am so glad I did, because I have had enough problems without the weight of this apparently useless compound. Maybe one day this plant will be studied, and its powerful effects will yield some kind of medical benefit, but until then, I think people should be warned that it will either ruin your day, week, or life.

I have never consumed any psychoactive drugs, nor have I had a psychedelic experience. However, I have actively sought knowledge on this subject through reading books and listening to professionals and professors. My intention is to inform myself thoroughly before a potential psychedelic experience, emphasizing the importance of developing a solid 'set' (in reference to set and setting). I have noticed a recurring pattern among people in the comments section of KZitem videos sharing their own psychedelic experiences. Unfortunately, many of them demonstrate a lack of knowledge by spreading 'bro science' and misinformation. I believe the root cause of this issue lies in the insufficient education on the matter.
