Honestly it takes him such a long time to get to his point… ‘if you can’t explain something simply you don’t understand it well enough’… this video could be done in 2-3 minutes! I won’t be coming back here!

@@KR_LIFTS to be honest all training systems work. I didn’t see ane diff between RPT, pyramid or straight sets. What I find more important is to vary rep ranges and train each muscle group 2-3 times a week. But that’s me, it’s not universal.

RPT is extremely similar to what Loya of bodybuilders and powerlifters have been doing for years. Top set to stimulate neurological adaptations and work on strength output, and back offs to accumulate volume looking to achieve a better hypertrophic stimulus

Would RPT training be good for strictly hypertrophy?

I guess so. But I haven’t noticed any significant difference between regression or straight sets in long term.

It can work for hypertrophy, yes, but you'll have to ensure you're doing enough volume and adding weight to the exercises over time.
