An excellent exercise for understanding how well you are catching the water and generating momentum from you underwater pull.
Think doggy paddle, BUT ON STERIODS!!
Difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it Superdog drill has a great rhythm and won't be that much slower than your normal stroke.
Before attempting Superdog it is recommended that you have a good understanding of:
- Streamline Drill for body positioning
- Switch Drill for stroke timing
- Flat Catch for an early vertical forearm
- Mini Catch for an early vertical forearm while in the streamline position.
