In my opinion fast 7 was the perfect time to finish the franchise with dom and Brian going their separate ways and that was a proper goodbye to Paul Walker… but greed and tarnishing the original fast family is lost in translation. They could have named it something else in respect to Paul Walker… it’s like making a sequel to titanic just doesn’t work anymore

0:08 we got to this point in the franchise because we, as car enthusiasts, were distracted by the fact that Hector is gonna be running 3 Honda Civics with Spoon engines. And on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and he ordered 3 T66 turbos with NOS, and a MoTec system exhaust.

Always loved cars since I could remember. In my early years I watched/helped my dad fix them up and drive them. Gran Turismo got me into building/modding cars and FnF kinda hyped it back up for me again. By that time though I was already digging into my cars but I didn't have much interest past the 3rd movie though.

As a fan automotive enthusiasm,I love the fast and the furious series movie and most of all these movie is very special in my heart when I'd was a kid in the era period 2000s.When the fast and the furious series movie about illegal street racing, car thief, bank robbery, gangster, mafia, undercover agent police officer department and now they were out of the theme where it started. They were just story about an regular professional criminal turning into a government agent save around the world from terrorism threat mix or mission impossible with James bond 007 style.

The first movie was awesome. The next three or four were ok. When the series went off the rails with international crime solving and Vin Diesel became some sort of superhero with super powers just sucked and I lost all interest in the franchise. The cars became insane bullshit with 5000 horsepower and each movie had some kind of stunt jumping cars out of planes and so on. To me it isn’t even in the realm of “so bad it’s good”. It’s just bad. At least I have fond memories of the humble beginnings of the series

Everything eventually becomes hot, popular and catches limelight with time. Be it anime, sports teams, movies, media and culture. The automotive has always had it's community and underground scene most have dabbled in, in their younger days long since. But it never mainstream with masses like when The Fast and the Furious came out in 2001. Even Gone in 60 seconds with Nic Cage the year before(2000) didn't turn people into car folks overnight. But the moment Paul Walker and Vin Diesel hit the screen; All of a sudden everyone was into car culture. With the movie's push, also came the dummy crowds. Individuals that thought the community and it's events, gatherings and shows was about making a scene, being obnoxious and attracting the law. It became a growing pain for those that were long time about of the community. And it hasn't gotten any better. Just car culture has become selective of holding events and keeping gatherings on the hush not to have *'Fast & Furiousers'* ruin others good time with friends, enthusiasts and aficionados.

I think F&F moved on with the times and current culture. Before 2008 financial crisis, the future looked bright. But now afterwards we don't even have enough to buy cars let alone car tuning. And with all the electric mumbo jumbo and autopilot bullshit future car enthusiasts are for a boring future. Sure electric rat-rod conversions like Rich Rebuilds does look fun as hell but then again they aren't fun brand names.
