And she took her mask off ! She is nuts !
@soilmanted
Жыл бұрын
Why do you say she is nuts? To know whether removing the mask was dangerous, you would need to know what chemicals were in the air caused the chemist to recommend the use of a mask. These masks have in interface to use with different cannisters. The cannisters contain filter material to filter out particles. Different types of cannisters filter out particles of different sizes. They type of filter you use depends upon the size of the particles you want to filter out. In addition to filtering out particles, different types of cannisters filter out different types of gaseous chemical fumes. A place that sells seeds, plants, fertilizers and insecticides, will often sell cannisters that are labeled as being able to filter out or chemically neutralize various pesticides. Paint stores sell cannisters that chemically neutralize paint thinner, and other solvents used in making paints. If you apply paint with a sprayer, you should use such a cannister. Fentanyl is not dangerous if used properly. It is best not to have particles of fentanyl floating around in the air. It can be absorbed by breathing it in. It can be absorbed through the skin, however not very easily. It is more easily absorbed through mucus membranes, such as those inside the mouth. Stories about drug commerce policers getting sick after raiding fentanyl dealer's homes and picking up sealed bags of fentanyl, are scare tactics, meant to scare the public. It is not easily or quickly absorbed through intact skin. If there are clouds of fentanyl powder in the air, yes you can be affected. But if the fentanyl is all secured in sealed packets, you are not likely to get enough fentanyl into your system to get even a little bit high. It may show up in a urine test, but not likely to indicate that you absorbed dangerous quantities. After my surgery they gave me a fentanyl lollipop with 400 micrograms of fentanyl in it. It was mixed throughout a few grams of ordinary white sugar. You put the lollipop between gum and cheek and fentanyl gets slowly absorbed into your bloodstream. It took away my pain. Worked very nicely. But I did not get high. That's what I liked about it - that it simply dissolved my pain without making me high. You won't get much fentanyl into your blood stream at all by putting a wet lollipop on your skin. 400 micrograms is just a few specs of fentanyl, so yes it is very strong, but nevertheless of stories of people getting sick from exposure to sealed bags of fentanyl are propaganda. 400 micrograms is 0.4 milligrams, not quite half of a milligram. An aspirin tablet contains 325 milligrams of aspirin, and about 10 milligrams of other stuff. Say 350 milligrams of stuff. Assuming the density of fentanyl is about the same as that of aspirin, you can get an idea of what 500 micrograms of fentanyl looks like. Crush the aspirin table and divide it into 700 parts. 700 little specks of white powder. Yes that is not a large volume of white powder, Just a spec.

Respect that he realizes that people doing too much is not something he wants happening, but would love to see us put cartels out of business by decriminalizing and regulating w/a hard effort to educate and provide harm reduction. The US spends 50 million dollars a year on the drug war and has consistently lost while making it hard for people with SUD to get help, putting massive amounts of money into violent cartels, has made Central American and South American citizens flee for their lives into the US illegally, has reduced RX pain meds by 41% but has gone up in illegally produced Fentanyl overdoses by 1040%(yes, 1040%), and is causing pain patients to lose their lives bt suicide. When are lawmakers going to catch up that this isn't working?
@thatonedude-6819
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, legalization of specific drugs would significantly reduce the profits of drug cartels, AND make it easier for those addicted to get help. Instead of spending our money on fighting the cartels that will always come back, let’s spend it on making sure they have no more clients (at least in the US) to sell to. Putting users in prison for possession is waste of prison space, time, and money.

@@thatonedude-6819 I have a spinal cord injury and am always in a lot of pain. I've been on morphine for about 15 years. I had found an old school doctor that would just write them for me but he retired and I recently moved. Now I'm trying to go to pain management but they're telling me I need to lower my amount, go on something else (which I can't because of my kidney problems) or find a different doctor. Then today they sent me to the wrong place so when I got to the right place I was late and they rescheduled my appointment. They also treat you like shit and act like they're doing you a favor if they write you a script. It also makes me a prisoner. I usually travel often. I ride all over the country or sometimes leave the country but I can't do that if I'm supposed to see a doctor every week or month or they'll cut me off. I'm an adult that's in pain.. Who are they to tell me what to do, control me, or have me on a medication and then just cut me off. At least if I bought shit off dealers I'd be treated with respect. The whole system is fucked and everything they do causes things to get worse.. If people can't get meds from doctors because they're in pain and someone tells them that they have pain pills for sale most people would buy them without knowing what's in them. They've made it so it's extremely difficult to get them so people get them illegally. Has no one learned from prohibition or the failed war on drugs? Outlawing something doesn't make it go away.
