Time, place, and manner restrictions are not a checklist to see if you’re allowed to perform expressive activities on public property. They’re simply ways the government can restrict expressive activity on public property. An example of a time restriction would be prohibiting people from protesting after 9pm as to not wake anyone up. A place restriction would be to prohibit expressive activities in a certain area. A manner restriction would be to prohibit certain expressive activities such as no filming or taking pictures inside the building. Freedom being exercised in public does not do anything to the police. No one forces them to violate the law. If the police obeyed the law then they would be doing nothing and there would be nothing for anyone to record and report except what every expects and wants, law abiding law enforcement officer. What the police and most corporate media seem incapable of comprehending is that no one is forcing the police to violate the law.
