Tinashe, thank you so much for this, I loved every moment of your deep dive into Graeme Souness! Even as a 55 year old New Zealander, I've been a Reds supporter through and through since the early 70s, and Souness was always my favourite player of this or any LFC era, and my favourite player full stop. Yes, he was a hard man who too often veered towards thuggish behaviour, but what a player, watching him boss the midfield no matter which team Liverpool played, the vision, the perfection of his passing, the never say die attitude and fire, his devastating thunderbolt shooting, and he was such an underrated dribbler with the ball at foot. It's easy to forget what a presence he had at his best and mock his punditry, but he'll always be my hero. ❤

I know Souness from his days as Blackburn manager when I started following televised football and EPL. He seemed average. And the managerial journey post that point was average as well. I didn't knew he had this backstory to him and that he had won so much. Definitely a generational talent. Thanks for making the video. Like Ian Wright, you educated me more about UK football 😇 always enjoy your content

Souness was to Liverpool what Roy Keane was to us. Gotta respect the man. Every team had a hard man in those days, some had several. The football was way better. Souness is bang on the money about the dabbing roider. I saw a 37 year old Scholes absolutely school him on running a game after he came out of retirement in 2012. Pogba had everything as a player and wasted it.
