I know everyone is going to recommend the race version and say that beginners can just use motor limits and throttle expo, but the difference in efficiency between the Race and Freestyle versions are pretty massive. If you don't *need* that extra top end, you are robbing yourself of 30s or more flight time with the race version (yes, even with motor limiting)

In my opinion the 180 plug is one of the best things they have introduced in these new models as I broke quite a lot of battery cables on my meteor75 which I needed to resolder onto the fc because the cable broke near the conector. So definitly way more reliable for the average consumer.

Betaflight 4.5 has the betafpvg473 target. I had to flash mine using an st-link tool because the bootloader on the prototype they sent me was neutered.

Love your video and sub immediately. How do u compare this to the mob6? I see you have a lot less crashes with the mob6 in your previous video? I am going to get this or the mob6 for freestyle and indoor. Which do you recommend? Thanks in advance

Not gonna lie, the footage in this video was like, my very first packs on it. Within even 3 packs I got a lot faster. The main reason I was crashing this one was because the camera angle was too low. That reaaaaally throws off the throttle and makes it hard to control. It’s an easy fix but I wanted to fly this one default. The happymodel eco BNF, I lost my original footage so even what you see in the video review I did was after I had made some adjustments like to the camera angle. And also after I had warmed up haha. Both BNFs surprised me with how well they flew. For what they are, they’re both great. This betafpv air BNF is gonna be a lot more competitive due to the lightweight. It’s actually quite a beast and very impressive for a BNF. Other people are saying that theirs has VTX issues though. Neither myself nor the other reviewer I was talking to had VTX issues during our testing and it’s something we specifically looked for. But other people having issues is giving me pause. I’d wait a bit and see how the vtx shakes out in the real world. Watch the Facebook groups and see what people start saying about the vtx over the coming months or weeks and then make the decision. At the very least, I wouldn’t use the ANALOG version of the mobula 6 2024. It uses a different fc than the Hdzero version and that fc has had a ton of issues. I don’t have one for myself and I don’t carry it in my store (due to the issues it has) but immediately at release, Facebook was flooded with people having issues and the people I’ve talked to who do customer support for larger stores than mine have mentioned that fc specifically as being problematic

Never knew how much I'd like flying 17 gram whoops. Flying my 27 gram hdzero mob 7 flies so bad compared to it.

Yeah 27g is so much! 17g makes such a difference. I personally don’t mind flying up to about 20-21g aside from lower flight times but even there you can feel the difference

How far away from you can it go, I mean how good is its video signal
@FPVYeti
Ай бұрын
This is a race build so I only use 25mw. I don’t really try to ever go super far away and I never really have issues with video signal. In most houses you’ll be able to fly anywhere in the house on 25mw and probably even outside and around it. So on a race track the only video issues you’ll have will be interference from other pilots really. So I’m not really sure how far you can go. I’ve gone pretty far on 25mw in the past. But with how I fly, there’s never any kinds of video signal issues. And the further you go away, the further you just have to walk to pick it up cause it happens to go down in the grass and get a piece of grass stuck in the prop. I only showed a fraction of my dvr in this video and you can see me getting up to get my whoop like 3 times lol.

I'm getting a bleep from my analog module and the video goes a bit strange even at close range,and it doesn't seem to be able to go much distance,what could be causing this?
@FPVYeti
16 күн бұрын
@@jasonsuffolk I’m not sure. I’d try reaching out to the company who manufactures your module or goggles. Or referring to the manual. It might be an issue of not supplying it enough power maybe? Analog is one way link though. The receiver has no way to communicate with the transmitter. So if your module or goggles seem to be acting up, it’s not coming from the drone. You could try some other drones to confirm that the issue is definitely with the module or goggles.

@FPVYeti

@@Toksuri1 haha this is a very interesting question. If you’re actually looking to carry an egg, I’d maybe say something like at least a 2s 85mm would be what you want. But I’ve never tried to carry an egg so I’m just guessing haha
