I have seven printers ranging in cost from 180.00 to over 3000.00 dollars I have two cadets that have printed hundreds of prints and I’m thinking about a Tina two.

Use the cura version that comes on the micro sd card, do not use the wiibuilder for slicing.

I would recommend just getting an ender 3 over this. Great video!

Hi. Thanks. btw. I would probably agree with you, Ender3 would be better. The Tina2 is a basic 3D printer with limited print volume capability, it's great for first-timers and older children who only put their first steps into stereolithography journey. Thanks 👍

Hi! I recently bought the same printer, I’m very pleased so far, but have a couple of questions, for you guys which is the best brand of filament for this printer? And the other one, I print 3d models with some details, at what settings do you get the best result? My models are 4” tall. Thanks for the help! I would really appreciate it!

Do you know how to fix the fan? I recently broke my fan accidentally by touching it. I got replacement, but it still didn’t work. Both fans probably work, but it just doesn’t spin
@FamilyPopTV

Hi. Fan troubles can be the worst - I haven't tinkered with any of the printers I had so far, but here are a couple things which came to my mind, you may want to double check: 1 - you may double-check connections - sometimes it's easy to accidentally misalign the connector (just to be sure) 2. the fans require specific voltage, so confirm it matches the Tina2's specifications (unless its a specifically designed fan for tina2). in reality, mismatched voltage might prevent the fan from spinning (like in the pc), 3 . this is very unlikely - but you may also check if there are any new firmware updates available for the printer, sometimes updates can address fan control issues. 4. also the most unlikely - double check for ant obstructions (which i believe you've already done). If none of those would work, it's also possible the motherboard port itself might be damaged. In that case, you might need to contact the manufacturer or cust.service. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. hope you'll be able to sort this out.

I've Tried two different prints and my Prints won't stick to the Platform, can u help with this??
@FamilyPopTV
Жыл бұрын
Hi. My first thought - the platform is not properly levelled, this is the most common reason why prints don't stick to it (re-home may solve it - unless the nozzle height been modified in any way?). The nozzle should be close enough to the platform to melt the filament, but not so close that it is touching the platform. Also, if the filament doesnt stick you may clean the platform surface - i have been using alcoholic cleaning solution (i think isopropyl alcohol). It could be the wrong filament, but its very unlikely, unless you use something different than PLA? I just got a new X-Maker 3d printer for assessing and reviewing, and I will take a look into possible solutions, as it looks like several people already had issues with the filament not sticking to the platform (not just tina 2 but various printers). Please let me know if cleaning, re-levelling or anything else made a difference. Adam.

@@FamilyPopTV Hey there, cheers for getting back to me, Apparently I'm not the only person having issues with the Prints not sticking, someone else suggested to remove the sticker Completely and using a Glue stick on the platform and according to him @Kalbo64 on his video: kzitem.info/news/bejne/k6Ssk2hsp6xoraQ does this very thing and says it works!!

Thanks, I'll check this out too. Btw. I also heard, that hairspray works well for the platforms making the filament stick to it.. I'll certainly try all those methods on my new printer (Aoseed x-maker 4.0),

I know this wouldn’t print Warhammer type miniatures very well but how about bigger miniatures like tanks if the parts are printed separately?
@FamilyPopTV

The inner size is the limitation, but sure you can print little parts separately. Be aware it's not the fastest printer and it'll take a while.

Do you have any tips/settings for printing off miniatures? I keep trying and the legs all seem to bow backwards making the prints useless. Thank you.
@FamilyPopTV
2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I’m not sure how it bows backward? Did you try to edit/turn or scale the model - or just convert it in wiibuiler app? The app adds that extra “build up” around the model, so it stands solid.
@TheRealRetroBeard

@@FamilyPopTV I download the file, load it in wiibuilder, pick a profile, add supports and then try to print. It's like the lower half of the model slightly melts or something and for example the legs of the model aren't straight but warped backwards.

In wiibuilder, in the settings for the print you may alter the material type (PLA), temperature, speed, etc and quality of the print. I will check it out on mine as soon as I’ll come back from holidays, end of the week and I’ll come back to you. I’m sure we’ll figure it out.

I also have this problem with mine what I do every time I change filament is I take that fitting that's on top of where you feed the filament in off "I'm used to taking the hose out of those push lock style fittings because they're air fittings in the industry that I work in" to remove the fitting you push down on the top plastic collar of the fitting and then pull the white hose out wow you're holding down on that collar and then you can spin the fitting out real easy. Then I push my filament up through The feeder and push it a couple inches past the hole where I just took the fitting out of and I drop the fitting back on it and snug it back down finger tight and then I push the tube back into the fitting and then I pull the lever up and I push the filament up into the tube until it stops. I know this sounds like a lot but it's actually very very little to do and simple, just hard to explain without showing. Hope this helps!

my filament wont stick to the base, just turns into a stringy mess
@FamilyPopTV
Жыл бұрын
Hi. Not sure, but looks like the base may need a replacement or cleaning - or most possibly the bed needs to be re-levelled. Or if the bed is levelled and the nozzle isn't too far from the bed, the filament may not be the right type. Please check the levelling / distance from the nozzle first.
