As wonderful as this professionally filmed version is, I actually love the live version they did surrounded by some audience members under a canopy in a rain storm a few years ago. No mics or anything, just them, the audience and the rain.

Rob (beard guy) definitely has the most butter voice in the group. There's something about it, it's a lack of artifice. His voice is just his voice. He doesn't do a lot of modulation or affectations. It just is. It's smooth.

Spine tingling, isn’t it? Perfection. For more bass, how about HF doing Honey I’m Good, or Hillbilly Bone, or Elvira ft The Oak Ridge Boys. You’ll also like Country Fried Pop Medley and the Butts Remix for some giggles, as well as All About That Bass (and behind the scenes for All about That Bass in a separate video, check the BTS video out straight after!).

This is one of my favorite hymns and their rendition of it is now my absolute favorite of the many I've heard throughout the years since I was a child. Hopefully it won't be for a very long time from now since I'm only 38 years old but I've already told all of my family that should something happen to me, I want this version of this song played at my service. It may not be necessarily a funeral song traditionally but it is one of my favorite, not just hymns, but songs in general, I just love it, it's so beautiful!

Superb reaction! I agree. You have had a busy week or two! You are finally including PTX in your exploration of some of the finest from Home Free and VoicePlay... WELCOME to the modern a capella rabbit hole! TYING EVERYBODY TOGETHER: Appearing on December 2013 Season 4 Finale of The Sing-Off: • Home Free (winners) • VoicePlay • Pentatonix (returning Season 3 Champions) The following July 2014, Home Free (feat. Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix) released that epic cover of J Cash's {Ring Of Fire}. VoicePlay featured an added female singer for The Sing-Off competition. My opinion was that she was not the 6th person they needed. And for 2014 The Sing-Off Tour (live), they replaced her with another female lead (to keep arrangements). The previous Spring 2013, VoicePlay (feat. Rachel Potter) released a superb video of {I Knew You Were Trouble/As Long As You Love Me}. Rachel got on X-Factor in Fall 2013 (close to finalist but too mature for that competition) - OTHERWISE, Home Free could have had serious competition from VoicePlay! (#2 Filharmonic was good, but maybe not that good). Several of VoicePlay's best video releases over the years feature Rachel Potter. The latest is {Moana Medley}. Add them to your list. Competing in Season 2 of The Sing-Off was a group lead by Peter Hollens - today another popular KZitem a capella producer. You will NOW want to watch Peter Hollens (feat. Home Free) rendition of {Amazing Grace}... Expect more goose bumps. I see you have had an intro to Voctave through their featuring Kirstie of Pentatonix. So, be sure to keep Voctave works in mind when you want a pause from Pentatonix, Home Free, and VoicePlay. I'll also assume that you will discover that Peter Hollens has collaborated with Avi Kaplan of PTX and Tim Foust of Home Free (Peter's & Tim's voices blend incredibly well).
