I'm here because I train in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. The history of bjj being taught currently is all men. Every gym has a picture of Helio Gracie hanging in it without female counterparts. Hierarchy is gender based. Women have been grappling since ancient Japan and ancient Rome and ancient Egypt. The men in moder culture do not teach the true history of female grapplers. It's to suppress the history of women grapplers to make today's modern sport appear more masculine when in fact it's not a masculine sport at all.

Hi, the "woman's era" should involve learning the difference between a noun and an adjective. WOMAN is not supposed to be an adjective and FEMALE is not supposed to be a noun, thanks 😆
