I'd like to see you try trading something other than ES and NQ. Doesn't have to be a perma switch, more like a one off video where you attempt it for a week or something. You could try Oil, Gas, Gold or something completely different. Just throw yourself into something unfamiliar and see how you do with the experience you have. Again, not a perma switch. Just something to spice things up once in a while.

what i discovered my friend it is this one things for everyone to learn,: because you are a new trader like me (new trader is anyone up to 4 years) that the best way to approach profitability faster and have something going on, it is to have a more mechanical approach where your opinion does not matter. if you had 20 years experience than i would say yeah go man 30% mechanical and 70% decision from you, but in this case i would keep 80% mechanical and maybe 20 decisional. So for the runner keep it mechanical, easy to follow and if it break something you are out. More mechanical, less emotionals, and trust me even if you had it 100% mechanical, you are gonna fucked it up, good luck everyone and survive!

You have no rules, no consistent plan to follow, no plan for exiting trades, no plan on how to manage your risk consistently, no plan on how to manage your size consistently, no plan for what your risk to reward is per trade, your exits on every trade are random, psychologically is a huge part of trading because it tries to make you do everything but follow your rules, you need to be disciplined and extremly consistent in trading, before you enter a trade you already should know your max loss, and what your expecting to win, you leave the door open to so much randomness and gambaling, you need to control absolutely everything you possibly have control over, main thing being risk, and of course stop breaking rules and over trading and making every trading day and trade different with your exit strategy sizing etc
@Eclipse-ed9vj

And one of the biggest things behind successful trading is psychology and managing emotions, it’s a HUGE part of trading and it’s barely felt when trading demo eval accounts, when it’s a “live” account different game with the emotions, not even in the same ballpark as trading REAL money, and these prop firms make money from failed evals, your never really on a live account, the few that get payouts are paid from that pool of failed eval accounts just lots of things stacked against you for no reason, start with a small live account, focus on a system and following strict disciplined rules, create a rule for every variable you CAN have control over, and be consistent. Compound the account

it's funny how that works with changing to a larger account, I did the same thing and out of the blue I stopped pushing so hard and left a lot of the garbage trades behind. I think it's something that we all value our time according to what we're used to make working a 9to5 and if we don't see that same output per day they we start questioning our self and the whole trading part as well. At least that's my 2 cents.

Awesome vid! Inspiring to try and pass my combine, which I've had no luck with. It might just be me, but those Free Resets (that expire) actually mess me up more than help. If they didn't expire, it'd be one thing. But, I think because I know the clock is ticking, I make stupid Hail-Mary moves to quickly pass - and if I break the rule - oh well, I have the free reset. As opposed to me seriously trying and knowing I have a free reset if I just mess up. Again, maybe just me ;) Congrats on passing!!!

Nice job. You've really grown as a trader. I said it last year (2 years ago?) that your first video made me want to start. I decided to learn for a 6+ months before putting real money in. I've passed several combines from several different companies. I've been paid out a couple of times. Unfortunately, about a year ago I decided I would be better off with my own money. I put too much money in, kept adding after it was gone. Right now I'm slightly negative in total (all prop accounts, paid PA accounts, and self funded accounts). However, I'm one payout away from being break even. It's a fun and trying ride.

This is what trading should be. Not the millionaire money. Real money Real freedom. It's like you fight for your freedom. I found myself really depressed with todays job. It doesnt give you any meaning nor even enough money plus you overwork on the things you dont like. I try to become a consistent profitable trader and note my psychs and trades everyday. Youre mad or a genius if you could remember all your failure and lessons. Trading is like improving yourself too.

FWIW, if you look at the chart at 9:04, you have breakdown candle, sideways movement, breakdown candle, sideways movement..... if you're short, move your stop to the top of the sideways movement and look how the sideways movement interacts with the breakdown candle. You exited on a breakdown candle then you exited on a candle with decreasing demand volume. Anyway, at key support candle spread is decreasing and demand finally came in so maybe a good choice for exit. That said, then you had 2 hours to watch price interact with point of control with demand volume continuing to decrease then a breakdown candle for another entry! If you enter a trade during a consolidation, you have to wait for the candle to break down or take a loss and figure out why your analysis was incorrect. I hear you about having to get a green trade to help mentally and I've done it several times. Even though I do it, I think it's a horrible idea because it means I'm not following the rules of my trading plan. Congrats on passing!!!!

Secondly, I would highly recommend you the book I’m reading now, by Jared Tendler: “The mental game of trading”. I noticed some mistakes in your psychology which can certainly be addressed with the ideas and processes you will read about in this book. No plug, I’ve nothing to gain from this, just trying to help a fellow trader on the come-up. Best of luck with your trading, I hope you manage to keep your emotions in check with the live trades! Normally that’s much more challenging than in sim.
