Many single moms CHOOSE to be single. Not all of us WANT a man's money nor do we need to depend on you. Stop the bullshit stigma that single moms suck! Im so tired of reading the comments. if anything, were WAY STRONGER THAN A MARRIED COUPLE and you know that's a fact because many of us go out and hustle and don't live off your child support or the state, I think people know how well most of us do and they aren't strong enough because their too dependent on other people. Dave Ramsey is a legend! People find too many negatives in this world and don't praise like they should and be proud of others and would rather bring them down. Your insecurities and projections need to go elsewhere. Proud to be a single mom and I WILL put the work in for my child!!!

Basic budgeting 101 the problem is they don't teach the younger generation this in school and that is the problem why kids just getting out of high school and college age are so deep in debt because they have no concept of budgeting even in the simplest form like you are speaking it's all common sense but most very young people count their chickens before they're hatched and have overspent their monthly budget....

I worked before I had them as a financial advisor, all my paychecks went into savings we lived off my husband's income. We were able to buy 2 brand new cars in cash with no payments. Our vehicles are 2 years old now. We have a visa that we use and pay off at the end of the month. Our house is the only debt we have. Thank you for sharing this information!

What would you suggest when you don't have access to the actual finances? I pay the bills with my husband's card but don't have access to the account so no idea how much we actually have. What's the best way to save when you have twin toddlers and 1 income?

I’m going to have to look up Dave .Ramsey. But sounds like what I’ve been doing for years. When I was younger. Had a few thousand dollars in credit card debt. Finally I looked at my finances and decided I could pay a much bigger payment. So I put my nose to the grindstone and paid it off in 18 months. Then I took the money thatIwas paying toward the card and started saving it, after a few years, I had $8000 saved up, I’d occasionally dip into it and buy myself something g special, but not often. I didn’t exactly know what I was saving it for, but then I got an opportunity to move to California, I knew it would be more expensive but I was dying to leave to leave Washington state, I basically started over. Almost everything in my house is Ve built my savings back up to nearly $4000 and. Having that fund to fall back on is so comfort in and to me% ?

Actually you want to take the one that has the highest interest and pay it off first and then take that money and go to the next one used to be the smallest and go up but now experts are saying that you should start with the highest interest-rate pay it off get rid of that debt and that high interest-rate go to the next one the next highest and so forth and so on until you go all the way down because the smaller interest is not going to cumulate as fast as a high interest that’s what I got from an expert
