This is so inspiring and very relatable. I grew up in a poor home, my only way out was going to school and getting a job, looking for innovative ways to increase incentive. Fast forward now I’m 50, retired a while at 45. I have 25% of my capital invstments in an IRA, 35% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts, in cumulative of over $ 6.5M. I receive income from rental property too. Zero debt and all is going accordingly, my financial consultant has been patient and has done a wonderful job for me throughout the years.

The truth about getting multiple streams of income is investing hard into multiple businesses that can takeoff ideally or passively, the current business terrain situates best for passive and others more, basically information is power, investment will give you the capital to actualize the multiple streams you desire.
good video, shows how a lot of it is trial and error, and that you shouldn't be afraid to try new things. Also so true that a lot of stuff has been already done before and you can be successful by simply improving an existing product/service. A lot of people get so caught up in the mentality that they need to go and create the next google in order to be successful.

Those are good ideas but just be carefull about the ebook. Not all google websites have reliable information (at least about food in general). Writing an ebook about something you don't have the proper knowlege could spread false information. If it involves food, health or similars, make sure the information is scietific proved and make reference to the autors of the article/book/website.

this seems pretty misleading. He left out the largest income stream (his salary from his corporate America job) that most likely provided the most amount of capital to buy up stocks and crypto (especially now if you are interested in the popular ones). You need a significant amount of capital to buy up stocks and ETFs to get a significant amount of return (especially with the index fund approach) over a long period of time. It's misleading to call a number of these activities "income streams" since they require buying and holding for significant amounts of time. Appreciate the hard work but people should not be fooled into thinking any of these streams are reliable or sufficient for everyday living (with the exception of freelancing, in the broadest sense)
@VincentChan
2 жыл бұрын
The title is called "How I Built 9 Income Streams." I wouldn't consider the Corporate America job an income stream that "I built." Regarding your 2nd point, there is no "minimum requirement" to be considered an income stream - technically a $1 dividend a quarter could be considered an income stream. The point of the video is not to say 1 or 2 income streams are "reliable" or "sufficient for everyday living." The whole point is to show I'm using 9 income streams to make a living.

With the possibility of a high salary at youth, it's probably simplest to just invest your salary till 30 then retire. It's more about the rich get richer and starting life with debt is like digging yourself out of a hole.
