@@ezgilv5449 good questions, when you use the software, hopefully they help you choose 75% good inventory and less bad ones. Do yourself a favour and bank that profit for you and your family. Give yourself a maximum percentage that you will ‘reinvest’ in the business and stick to it and treat it as a cost like any other. Too many sole traders scam themselves into ‘investing in their business’ with the belief that they can become bigger and bigger and eventually millionaires and they never actually materialise a profit. The reality is that almost no small business owners will get to that scale and that is okay. Make hay while the sun shines and don’t let all your hard work disappear when the market changes.

So which websites did you buy the products from for your online arbitrage? What were the types of products you bought?
@ApprenticeDiary
Ай бұрын
Branded products. Maybe if you look up retail arbitrage Amazon FBA on KZitem, you would find more info. Literally could go to any stores in the USA. Walmart, target, Nike, etc.

Great video and you encouraged me to try this out. I sent out my first box last week! I’m looking to scale fast already and wondering if you have any recommendations for OA prep centers? They’re kind of hard to find thanks!

Great video! I have a silly question: why would any wholesaler or brand need you as the Amazon FBA? I totally respect the hustle and effort you put in. But at the same time, I don’t understand why the wholesaler or the brand wouldn’t just sell on Amazon without you, to keep the margin for themselves. Is the market just that inefficient? Are you buffering their risk? If so, how do you know what kind of risk you can handle?
@ApprenticeDiary

Not all brands know how to sell on Amazon nor want to spend time learning when they can make a good margin already working with you. Wholesalers got plenty of other products and clients to sell to so don’t need to manage a few SKUs that sell well on Amazon. I’m literally buying inventory from them while they make their percentage. No risk for them. Risk for me if it doesn’t sell as well as I thought then I’m stuck.

You have to have over a Million Dollars in revenue per year to maybe clear a 100K Salary in case anybody isn't sure. That is a LOT of selling to do.
@ApprenticeDiary
Ай бұрын
Yup, that’s why we need a lot of capital and the only way I see possible is going wholesale and brand direct
@martinmi5

@@ApprenticeDiary You are correct, it takes money to make money. As a Day Trader and owner of several businesses they all require capital. The quickest way to a six figure income is starting a service based business. You don't need anywhere near the capital of FBA or dropshipping and the road to 100K can be achieved your first year.

@@martinmi5 yep, was thinking about that but currently need to make a few of my side hustles more passive before I try something new.

@@ApprenticeDiary Awesome, let me know if you need any help. I won't charge you lol. But starting a social media marketing agency is one of the ways I was able to become a millionaire. Making anywhere from 2K-4k per client with 4 or 5 clients per month I sold my marketing agency for near half a Million Dollars a couple of years later, then got into stock market and other ventures.

Congratulations on the baby and success you've seen so far with your business. You've put in a lot of hard work! You making $11,000 is honestly impressive, but the truth of the matter is, you can make more money being an Uber driver or waiter/waitress with a lot less effort. This is why there are so many Amazon FBA course sellers and grifters. You make less than poverty wages for putting in so much hours of work doing Amazon FBA, so they sell a course on how to do what they do to make money.
@ApprenticeDiary
Ай бұрын
Nah. Uber drivers you are capped by the hours. Amazon FBA, you can always improve your processes and efficiency and outsource everything. I agree some ppl just sell courses and become a guru and never sell anything again. You need to dive into the community and see what others sellers are doing to become more and more efficient. Some of them only spend like 10 hours a week and make $10k/mo. Wayyyyyy better than I am doing.
@YaYousef5

@@ApprenticeDiary I understand what the courses have sold you in, and the unproven claims that people have said, but statistically speaking, very few people who sell on Amazon with arbitrage methods make a living wage. Based on your $11k total profit of the year, you're in extreme poverty for doing an incredible amount of hours. Uber drivers/waiters statically make around $30-60k a year depending on a number of factors and their job is way way way simpler. The odds and statistics are against Amazon FBA sellers and at the end of the day you're at Amazon's mercy. They can change their rates at any time. They can steal your product at anytime (there's 1000s of times this has happened). There's a very clear reason why there's so many people selling Amazon FBA courses: they make a lot more money doing that than actually selling on Amazon. You're a very smart and determined person but please look into the hard data. 😁

With how the economy has been and not really having the opportunity to switch careers at the moment you’ve inspired me to try and make the leap and learn more about doing something like this! Do you recommend any specific resources for learning more? Also do you have a discord of some sort so those interested can learn more through you?
@ApprenticeDiary

I don’t currently have a discord or community yet. The way I learn is mainly through KZitem. Pick something, research, trial and error. I do have a few discords I’m part of that I recommend in the description. They are good for getting started in the reselling space.

I used to do Amazon FBA and quit cause the fees was taking most my of gross, leaving me with very small payouts. Been thinking about getting back into FBA. I have never done dropshipping, but been thinking about it as well. I've heard so many nightmares about how items are not available to ship causing delays and such. But in general I know nothing about how it works.
@ApprenticeDiary

Yeah, dropshipping is a whole different story. Amazon will just keep increasing their fees. We need to improve our buying criteria as we adapt.
