Stop-motion build video of my profile RC Micro P-51, Mk-2. Easy and simple to build. Easy and simple to fly. A good way to experience flying a low-wing RC plane.
My P-51 Mk-2 has the same specs as my profile micro P-51, Mk-1 except for the battery and flying weight. My Mk-1 has a 1S 200 mAh Lipo while my Mk-2 has a 300 mAh 1S Lipo. I also used magnets to hold the battery in place on the bottom of the fuselage for Mk-2. Two layers of 3mm foam sandwiched the center balsa of the fuselage for Mk-1 while Mk-2 has two layers each on both sides. The flying weight for Mk-1 is 38 grams while my Mk-2 is heavier at 48 grams. The additional weight is a welcome thing to give my plane a little stability flying outdoors against some wind gusts.
