What a great tip about dissolving the fillers once in awhile. I think people try to save money by letting it dissolve “naturally” but more and more information is coming out that it’s spreading, not really dissolving. It lasts much longer than the manufacturer advertises and that’s because they can only claim it lasts up to however long the study lasted for. Most studies aren’t following patients 2, 5 years out etc.

@@tiahnarodriguez3809 yes, it's true. hyaluronidaise (HA filler dissolver) can not distinguish between hyaluronic acid filler and your body's natural hyaluronic acid. why would it be able to anyway? it's funny logic when you think about it. it's the same substance essentially. and yes there are many horror stories of people being left with indents and small disfigurements from HA dissolver. honestly the more i learn, the more i cringe when i see everyone getting these things done. it's your body of course, but i feel like not too many people know the risks and most practitioners won't disclose them because they want your money.

HIGHLY recommend looking up credentials before going to an injector -- even "expert injectors". I would recommend going to a *board certified* physician (MD or DO) for your injections. Facial plastics and oculoplastics (eye surgeons) are highly trained in facial anatomy, and being board certified holds them to a higher standard.
@frankie9953

idk, just because someone is an MD doesn't necessarily make them better. I went to the highest rated doctor this is city and he way over did my jaw botox. Started me at 30 each jaw! It messed with my face so bad. Two years later, I found a NP who worked with me to find the perfect amount for my face. Just my experience, but an MD doesn't necessarily make them better.
@ShyBandGeek
2 жыл бұрын
This is not good advice. MDs and DOs usually have their secondary providers do procedures like filler. Doctors are NOT good at filler. They are good at surgeries and complex cases related to their specialty. NPs and PAs are much better at filler because they do these multiple times a day, every day. An MD very rarely does these small procedures. I would not recommend going to an RN, only NP and PA

For me, as soon as I turned 26, I started getting a more womanly shape, and at 27 my body is still doing its thing. People used to make fun of me because I was a skinny bean pole, and they’d even call me a “boy” because of it 🙄, but at 27 no one is calling me a “boy” now 😅, so if you’re considering getting work done on your body wait till after your second puberty because these grown woman curves are no joke. For reference I used to be an A cup for most of my life, but at 26 I grew to a B cup and now at 27 I can fit into a C cup. My younger sister on the other hand went to a D-DD cup. I’ve heard women in their 30’s say their body is still changing, so to me it doesn’t make sense to get work done on something that’s still changing.

I almost never say this but I so prefer the “Before”. You are still very pretty. You can probably go back to it if you wanted to…I think one day you’ll see it. I went through a phase like this where I changed my hair and tanned and did all kinds of things like lip filler, etc. i look back and I’m just horrified. Like when you are this young and this beautiful naturally, you don’t see it until time has passed I guess. Nothing you’ve done is permanent. I’m all about plastic surgery and enhancements and anti-aging…but damn did you not need a single thing

Hi thank you so much for sharing! It’s refreshing to see a KZitemr be so transparent. I’ve been getting masseter Botox for a few years for TMJ and I’m so glad with the result. Not only did it help w that, the benefit of having a slimmer face was helpful. How long have you been getting it done?

Getting lip fillers and having them dissolved hurts like hell. I cried like a baby when I had mine dissolved and I swear I’m never to going to get them again. I’m traumatized af LOL. Props to the the ladies who can handle getting them done cuz I literally felt like dying 😭😭

Botox in the TMJ breaks down the jaw bone over time. This is something they don't tell us.

the person who dissolves the fillers must do a really good job, because the dissolver they use doesn't distinguish between the filler and the natural hyaluronic acid. so you can get botched too when dissolving the fillers. fillers are so scary to me, i can't understand how people just decide to do it like it's nothing big.

I don't think botox and fillers are considered surgeries though. Surgeries are when you go under the knife, fillers and botoxes are a lot less invasive it's just injections of needles.

I actually would not recommend dissolving filler, because the hyaluronidase does NOT differentiate between your natural hyaluron in your skin and the filler hyaluron. There is a possibility that your skin hyaluron will not regenerate. so be carefull....

Ahh so this is why i often found some idols / youtuber have that kind of pouty look when smiling/ talking ( So the jaw and mouth moved unnatural) Like its looks paralyzed. I thought it was just a habit. Now i know, learn something new everyday. Thankyou for the info, you look gorgeous 👍

Yet another amazing and well explained video! I wish this video was out before I went on sooooo many other videos to research about fillers and botox haha, back then I went to a few consultations (some are free some requires payment, do ask before going!) and was already planning to do something with my jaw, bc i have the exact same issue with jessica, a masculine square jaw. However I found out I dont wanna spend so much $$$ for the procedures after getting the quotations, esp fillers bc you also have to spend to dissolve it which is like a hassle. I mean I could if I wanted to but I had other commitments too yknow. There are also ultherapy, and stem cells instead of botox and fillers but not so sure about the results and it costs more. In conclusion after getting consultations you can really feel who’s a genuine physician and who is just out here to suck your money, so no matter what choose wisely and pls pls do your own research, its so important because anyone could just tell you anything to make you do the procedures. I’m kinda glad I had the willpower to walk away when it didn’t feel right for me :)

I also do it now every 9 months / once a year and I think it's fairly enough! Also I did my first lip filler when I was 29, I don't think doing it before 24-25 is a good idea because up to 25 the body is still in the "growth" phase. Your lips look beautiful btw!
