I'm 26 at the moment. Born into a Cstholic family and stopped attending church when I was 14 years old, because I did not think confessing to a priest was biblical and thought the images and "Mary worship" are idolatry. So I became somewhat non-denominational discovering Christianity from the internet, getting my own Bible and interpreted the Bible according to what made most sense through the lense of my influences online, which where from Baptist, Hebrew Root to Seventh Day Adventists kind og Christians. Back then I had a really hard time in my life and lost trust in people. So somehow in retrospected I was more attracted to denominations like the Seventh Day Adventist church, which make a big deal out of how the mainstream churches like Roman Catholicism and even others who worship on Sunday must be wrong. So I had kind of a conspirational mind, where I thought that I'm the only one knowing the most about the faith, while everyone else around me might be deceived by Satan. And of course I didn't attend any church because of that. As I got older and stopped to be like that I discovered more of the scholastic site of the Christian faith. The Lutheran Jordan B Cooper was a big influence on me as well as glimpsing over church history. Back then my conclusion became that the mix I believed earlier was pretty ahistorical. I was shocked that Luther (and even Calvin to some degree) would practice their faith rather in a "Catholic way", as both Lutheranism and Presbyterianism are pretty liturgical instead of the endless sermon kind of worship in contemporary evangelicalism. It begged the question in me how modern worship could be the way to go, when it's, well, modern. Why would got allow all teh ritualistic parts, when it doesn't matter? Wouldn't it be rather superstitious or idolatrous? Later on I got convinced that the Eucharist/Lord's supper is truly the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ and not just a mere symbol, as Luther believed and also the church from the beginning as evident in all tge church fathers. So either the church felt totally into idolatry eith tgis belief from the very beginning and everyone was wrong until very late in history, or the truth got preserved by God throughout history and I was the being wrong. So I wanted to become a Lutheran for a good time because of this, but didn't because the kind of LutheranismI wanted, became rare and the modern evangelical luth. churches did not put that much emphasis on the real presence. I still had the option to revert to Catholicism, the religion I was born into, but I knew that I couldn't receive the Eucharist there without making a confession. Later on I listened to a preacher I still admire very much, named Derek Prince. He died a longer time ago, but I didn't saw anyone preaching like him in my life and dividing the word of God as he did. To my shock, even though he was a Pentecostal of the Charismatic movement, he would mourn and say that it's a bad thing that Protestants removed confession. At the same time he also believed in the real presence of the Eucharist. I also found out that my idol Luther still went to confession after the reformation happened and that for a long time confessions have been practiced in Lutheran churches commonly. Then one day a Catholic persuaded me to just go to a Catholic church and make a confession there. I didn't believe in the Catholic church yet because I had my issues with "Mary worship", which made me prefer Lutheranism. Long story short, I did it anyway. For some odd reason I felt like really contrite while confessing and started to sob like crazy. As the priest absolved me from my sins, I felt a "power" running through me and my Tinnitus (a condition where one hears ringing constantly) fully disappeared for a good time and I felt super light after that. I knew for sure that the Holy Spirit was working in the Catholic church from now on. I also had it way easier to resist sexual urges. It was as if a curse on me lifted and I had the freedom to actually resist sin. Before that I thought I'm doomed to sin in particular sins, without even hsving the possibility to resist it. After this experience I became someone who wouldn't skip church anymore and go to the Catholic church, while still doubting many dictrines of the church. Finally I worked everything out for me, to really become Catholic by some special encounter in Croatia. For now I don't want to mention it, as my comment is already long. Anyway, God bless everyone. Life is sometimes not as it seems and oir understanding of the faith grows with us as we ourselves grow. I don't want to proselytize anyone, but give a testimony about my development and experience. There is more to tell, if soneone is interested. I can reply to comments. Have a blessed day.

You see ideas that are close to Catholicism in some, more Eastern ideas in others and more evangelical ideas in others and sometimes you have all of this in the same Church Father (that's why in a discussion about Church history, all positions take the quotes that suit them to support their side). c) Much of the view that EO and RC have of the Church as being "a single specific institution" and not a people chosen by God (which is the meaning of the term Ekklesia in Greek), developed during the Christian Empire and many of these issues and the theology of the time took place under the strong political influence of the Empire in the Church (Athanasius suffered a lot from this). I'll be 47 in Sept. When I was younger and at an appropriate age, my parents allowed me to go church hopping. I grew up in a pre-Trib rapture, Pentecostal household. I'm the oldest of 3. Have one younger sis 2 years younger and my kid sister is 10 years younger. I'm 20 years younger than parents and they just celebrated their 50th anniversary. We frequented a Four-Square Gospel church. Eventually my curiosity got the better of me, but parents said to wait till I was 13. From that point on, I bounced between Catholic, Charismatic, Non Denom, Lutheran, Baptist, and a few other denominations. At 16 I started asking questions that got me into trouble. Like at a Baptist Church (paraphrased) me - if you believe in the holy Spirit, why don't you believe in the manifestation of the holy spirit? Them - we believe that further knowledge isn't available. Me - Daniel 12:4 That one passage got me in big trouble. Was asked to leave after that. After that, my questions to various denominations persisted. It was never out of spite, but trying to understand. Sometimes they listened and explained things....and sometimes my line of questions "offended" or "caused conflict". It wasn't like I was asking in front of the congregation, rather behind closed doors, out of respect. At 19, I had settled into a non Denom church. I didn't believe in some of the spiritual gifts and I was unsure about prophetic dreams. While I didn't believe in those things, I really liked how the pastor didn't always preach from the pulpit. No, sometimes he sat on the floor of the stage and talked personally to the members of the church. Or he'd walk the aisles and preach. I found that to be impressive and highly respectable. And it was at that church I found my new fav type of Christian music - praise and worship. Sorry, but hymns just aren't for me. There's literally two of them that DON'T put me to sleep. It was during one of the services where I found myself front and center to be prayed for. Pastor just looked at me and I was down, fallen (I don't use the term slain) in the Spirit. I can go into detail if you want, but trying not make this post too long. I'm quite long winded. After that experience, my eyes and heart were opened...and I read and prayed the Word with invigoration. I am non Denom charismatic. I do believe in the spiritual gifts I do Not believe in Planned revivals I'm pre-wrath these days. Hope it comes sooner, but best be prepared. I believe in the literal heaven and a literal hell Judgment comes for all of us The Word was written through mankind via the Holy Spirit. Everything is important, not just the Red Letters I'm straight and natural born eunuch I do NOT believe the Word promotes homosexuality or transgenderism I may have missing junk and have a dud for a pituitary gland, but that doesn't mean I am or should be gay, trans, intersexed, or whatever else some people have been trying to pin on me.

Hey! Baptist Christian here! i love how you teach and i found your channel just recently. I do have to say something (or two) and I'm a little serious about this because I have a friend like you! and I don't hate any denominations 1. know what non-denominational category you are, in because many non-denominationals are closer to Southern Baptist. now when asked why you are non-denominational you have to be sure, because in reality believing the word isn't about personal opinion it's about what God truly says. know theology and know there is no non-denominational in theology. so either you fit in a doctrine that is rooted in a denomination. not to force it because everyone views the bible differently. theology is a deeper study of concepts and ideas in the bible very much needed 2. i do not know if you're going to a church that is non-denominational but be careful, non-denominationalism is centered on what a person believes and most non-denominational churches struggle with money and people who work in it (not always the case). they are very close to just their church. this is why this 'denomination' is on the "we do not know" side of things. it is not biblical because non-denominational churches separate the church even more. and we do not want that. we want to be more united than ever. while beliefs are different we all MUST believe the essentials and 3. There is no rush in finding a denomination as long as you find a church that has the true teaching of the Bible and God and doesn't change any of the essentials we believe in then you are good. and truly you're a sweet person and I really hope this can reach out to you and many other people. God bless and thank you for making such amazing content 🙏🙏🙏

I see lots of good things in many denominations that I completely agree with, but I also see many things in those denominations that I completely disagree with. For some doctrines, my view lines up with that of a Baptist, for other doctrines, my views are more similar to a Pentecostal. However, I like to hear what people of other denominations have to say about certain things, since it helps me articulate my own views. Iron sharpens iron, as the scriptures say. Some people poke fun at non-denominationals for not aligning with big mainstream denominations, however, statistically non-denominationals are the most biblical Christians. Hi Blue! I really enjoy the honesty of videos like these and it's a relief to see them every now and then. I have a question for you but it requires some of my background to get the full picture. I grew up as an atheist for most of my life until I was around 19 (I'm 23 now), when I started believing that Jesus was truth. But it took me a long time, only until around four months ago, when I really started taking my faith seriously. I never really had a spiritual experience, I just eventually kind of thought that He was real through research in other fields like history and politics. It went slowly from "wait, He might be real", to "yeah I'm pretty sure He's real" over the span of that time, where I became a very lukewarm Christian. Recently, I reconnected with a friend of mine much older than me who helped steer my passion into my faith, and I've studied hard almost every day for the past four months. My purpose in all of this is to ask: How do you feel about people with and without spiritual experiences? Do you need to "meet God" to be a true believer? I believe in Him and everything He's said about as much as I believe in breathing air, but I've had the nagging thought in the back of my mind about this, like I feel left out on the whole topic. My general outlook has just been, "Don't act like doubting Thomas", but it still bothers me. Sorry for the long rant, I hope you get the time to answer a question like this!

Seeing that you mentioned the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, allow me to take a moment of your time to argue for the affirmative position. First and foremost, we must recognize the fact Christ is the fulfillment of God's promise of an eternal monarchy to king David (2 Sam 7:13). This role is also made clear in the New Testament. Luke 1:31-33 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” Now, in the Davidic monarchy, a king used to rule with a queen. But this queen was not his wife, but rather his mother. She was known as the "queen mother". The queen mother was second in rank only to the king. She thus also served a role as a powerful intercessor to the king. We can see an example of this in 1 Kings 2:13-18, where Adonijah requested Bathsheba, the mother of king Solomon, to intercede to Solomon for him. Adonijah thus assumed that the queen will speak to Solomon on his behalf and that Solomon will not refuse her. Therefore, if Jesus is the new king, that makes Mary the new queen. This is something that would immediately be recognized by any 1st century Jew. And the historic Christian faith also recognized this fact. John Damascene, On the Orthodox Faith, 4.14 [8th century A.D.] "Must there not therefore be a Mother of God who bore God incarnate? Assuredly she who played the part of the Creator's servant and mother is in all strictness and truth in reality God's Mother and Lady and Queen over all created things." John Damascene, Homily on the Dormition 1, no. 2 [8th century A.D.] "Neither the human tongue nor the mind of the angels that live beyond this universe can give worthy praise to her, through whom it has been granted us to gaze clearly on the glory of the Lord . . . Let us, in holy reverence, with trembling hand and yearning soul, pay gratefully the humble first-fruits of our minds, as we must, to the Queen Mother, the benefactress of all nature!"

On a podcast I watch (called the Help My Unbelief Podcast) they have found out that most pagan witches have catholic backgrounds lol. I’m a Pentecostal because I accept the doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and how important it is to speak in tongues (obviously prophesying is greater) but we see it as a message from God (when there is a translator)

Woah, dawg! You seem to believe a lot of weird things about "denominations'. You don't have to have an opinion on things to be in a denomination. Like, I straight up disagree with my denomination on a few minor things, and there's WAY MORE things about which I'm undecided (because I'm not too clever), but here I am! I CONSTANTLY listen to stuff from other denominations and traditions, and sometimes I agree with them, sometimes I disagree. Like, whatever! My worry is just that you are attending a church (like, any of them will do). Assembling together is important. If you're going to a "non-denominational" church (LET'S BE REAL, THAT JUST MEANS BAPTIST AND WE ALL KNOW IT), great. If you aren't attending anywhere, I urge you to look in to how important it is to be a member of a church. kthxbai

(Process all of this slowly.) Christian Blue, I really hope you see this because your video has been all over my recommended feed, this video specifically. So it's quite likely God would like me to reach out to you by his own direct will for you. Either way, sharing God's one true church is still something I need to do because it's his will, regardless of constantly sending this video my way. I want to lead you to the church Christ established here on Earth, The first historical church, the Catholic church. Most protestant denominations came out of the Catholic church; Anglicans were once all Catholic clergy that one king bribed to make the church of England so he could be married to another wife. John Calvin himself was a Catholic theologian, and Martin Luther was a Catholic Priest. Many protestants, at one point, were originally Catholic. The Crusades were not perfect, but they were needed; these crusaders were all Catholic knights who stood up against Islam taking over Christian Europe. Martian Luther and John Calvin also spoke highly of the Virgin Mary as a powerful intercessor for us on behalf of Jesus and God. The Catholic church has a very long historical run because it was the first and only church for over 1,500 years until Martian Luther rebelled and took out 7 books from the bible and some passages like in Daniel. I can hand you a few resources to help you get started on learning the Catholic faith, which I hope you would be open to learning about. www.catholic.com/ This site has a lot of theologians and apologists of the Catholic faith here explaining scripture. www.youtube.com/@JimmyAkin This channel here is a man that I highly admire and agree on with a lot of exciting things, such as aliens or animals going to heaven, which he has an open mind to, and does well thought out research on topics. He talks about evolution, dinosaurs, etc. www.youtube.com/@catholiccom This is the Catholic Answers KZitem channel for videos and podcasts. I also highly recommend this book to learn more deeply about the faith. www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/_INDEX.HTM As to your opposition to Mormonism and Calvinism, you are free to believe in any way you want in God's omniscience and free will as long as it abides God knows all things. I am myself a Catholic, and I take to the view of dynamic omniscience, which means God knows all potentialities down to the microscopic detail. I admit God has a point in "time" in his eternity where certain futures are certain and other things can happen because human free will is a thing, and this allows an open future without exhaustively SETTLED foreknowledge in advance. His foreknowledge is exhaustive because he knows every potential outcome that can happen in our near future that leads to chain reactions of other things happening further into our future. I was once a protestant, I went to a Catholic school and didn't believe in everything Catholics taught, but they did prove to me that they were the 1st church with their historical facts. At the age of 23, I became a methodist, and after 6 months of searching and hard praying, I was able to find nothing but Catholic teachings that made sense of the bible. Because I found that protestant teachings were inconsistent. You have been saved by faith alone, but you notice all these places where Jesus says, "If you do not produce good fruit, you will be chopped down." You have James; faith without works is dead. Just as the body is without the spirit. Jesus talks about being Lukewarm and being spit out. Jesus is clearly telling us that our salvation is conditional based on how we live our lives through faith in him and his grace. So our works will clearly be judged, as Jesus tells the sheep you fed me, clothed me, visited me in jail, gave me water, and they were saved. Then he told the goats you did none of these things for me in the book of revelation, off to the fiery pits of hell that were made for the devil and his followers. This tackles two of the most significant dogmas of protestants, eternal security and faith alone. I've said enough for now. If you have any questions for me, comment just make sure to @ me. I hope you use those sources for any questions you have, like the intercession of Mary, saints, the Eucharist, and the papacy. Please take your time with all of this.

Presbyterians, Dutch Reformed, and Congregationalists are the only denominations that teach classic Reformed Theology ie Calvinism. By this I mean they teach double predestination, are amillennial, hold to the spiritual presence of Christ in the Eucharist, believe in baptismal efficacy, and practice infant baptism. Historic Baptists , in accordance with the London Baptist Confession of 1689, also fell into this category. I know of no denomination that is entirely Arminian. Many Methodists are Arminian, as are plenty of Christians in other denominations, but there is no denomination I know of that has Arminianism as standard teaching. Modern Baptists are generally either Provisionists or loosely defined Calvinists (holding to double predestination but little else).

Hey, Wesleyan here, just a few things: 1. If you join a denomination, you don’t have to agree with everything they believe. My denom teaches YEC and I’m still unsure on that. 2. Iron sharpens iron. Mentors, pastors, and other church leaders are very important for your growth as a Christian, so find people like that who are trustworthy to you. 3. I’m not against nondenominational churches, but they can be less secure, and they have little to no accountability to stay with the Scriptures. Finally, the comments that are telling you to switch to specific denominations- take it with a grain of salt. I think it’s great to let the Holy Spirit guide you in this walk. Thanks for sharing, and the video is great!

I encourage you to continue spending time with Him and seeking GOD and not men! I know doing this may not be as easy in the generation we are in (gen z) but God is our continued strength! I think sometimes as Christians we try to be "good Christians" and I think we should be careful not to make being an idol out of this but make our desire to be more like Jesus Christ! Intimacy with Him is so much better than being religious ( I mean works based religion that is) because good works come *from* our being in a good relationship with Him and cultivating a relationship with him! Jesus simply desires that we authentically BELIEVE in Him and truly trust in him and not ourselves! Jesus is our focus! Amen! I hope you understand me! Some scripture -> "Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” John 6:28-29 (ESV) Godbless you!

@@Believeinthe_LordJesusChrist "To the... church in Ephesus:... Repent...." Revelation 2:1-5. "To the church in Pergamum:... Repent...!" Revelation 2:12-16 "To the... church of Thyatira:... repent." Revelation 2:18-21 "To the... church of Sardis:... repent." Revelation 3:1-3 "To the... church of Laodicea:... repent." Revelation 3:14-19 5/7 is 71% of churches need to repent, except Philadelphia and Smyrna. Orthodoxy is the church of Pergamum. You worship saints and have statues of Mary and other saints. You also have an elitist, priestly class with robes that creates a hierarchy that has become corrupt: the local churches are somewhat ok, but the bishops and head of the churches are very corrupt. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". 1 Timothy 2:5 I think that confessing to priests is an offense of this scripture. You should confess to Jesus alone. You do not require intercession to ask for forgiveness. "[Let] there be no divisions among you" 1 Corinthians 1:10 The orthodox church claims to be the one, true church. However, Jesus said not to squabble over dividing the Gospel. "Were ye baptized in the name of Paul?... For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Gospel". 1 Corinthians 1:13-17 I think that the orthodox church puts ritual over relationship. I think the creeds, that constantly change, and beliefs that omit Jesus and salvation, and focus on the church, or people, or attendance, as a means of salvation is wrong. Holy water, and exclusivity of blessing, coming from the church instead of from the Father, spiritually, is wrong. Exclusivity of priesthood is unbiblical, all who know the Gospel are priests (Revelation 1:6; 1 Peter 2:9). Jesus is our High Priest. "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. 6 If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed." 1 Timothy 4:1-6 Orthodox priests are forbidden to marry after ordination, which is wrong. Orthodox Bishops actually can never be married, even since before ordination. Some (not all) orthodox worshippers and ministers believe in purgatory from what I understand. I, also, wish I saw more exorcisms, but that's an American problem, in Europe and Asia there is a wider acceptance of deliverance practices in orthodoxy. I understand every church is different. There are 66 books in the Bible, not 81+ according to the orthodox church. The truth is proven in The Living Greek New Testament Organization.

While I think that having a denomination is generally better than not, it's good that you're open to things and at the very least, still a Christian. You seem pretty young still, so you will have lotsa time to discover where you might fit in best and what you believe (imo there's only one completely right answer but I suppose that's up for you to decide). However, life can take disasterous turns, so it may be in your best interests to decide sooner. I doubt anything will happen, but the Revelations doomsday clock is always ticking 🥶

I personally think that the nitty-gritty things that denominations argue about are left purposefully unclear in the Bible. If God wanted us to know the answers to these questions, he would have given us the answer outright instead of leaving us to argue about it. I think Satan uses this to spread division among the church, diverting our focus from what is most important. That's why I'm non-denominational. I don't want to alienate myself from anyone based solely on what I believe about an issue that isn't central to the Bible's core messages. I try my best to live my life as a faithful christian, and I have faith that, according to God, I don't need to know the answers to these questions.

What Id say is you shouldnt go off of which denomination you agree with, but rather why a denomination is right. I follow Eastern Orthodox because I believe that it is the true and unchanged church which was established by Jesus. It is not denomional, it is pre-denominational. I believe the church is guided by the Holy Spirit and has an unchanged dogma since the beginning of her life. With this line of thinking, you might instead follow Catholicism or something of that kind, but Ive come to the conclusion that the continuation of the church (before the schism of 1054) is the Eastern Orthodox church.

@Bible43 true, there is more to Calvinism than predestination(the take that caused Calvin and Luther to split was actually his view on communion). @Bible43 We do believe people can fall away, just that if they fall away they were never saved(because of irresistible grace, and the parable of the sower shows that wether you loose or keep your faith is based on conditions). Just like how the Bible commands people not to sin, even though it’s impossible. God knows they will continue sinning, and he can want them to stop without forcing them to conform to his mercy, and instead letting them fall to their own sin.

I think you shouldn't discredit Calvinism too early. I was with you, somewhere in between Calvinism and Armenianism, a month or two ago. But, I have recently found the truth. I was biiiig into free grace. I was non denom so usually that goes hand in hand. So, when i first heard the idea of Calvinism, i was like "bruh, that sounds terrible!" BUT one day I had a discussion with a very intelligent man that shared his view on getting salvation. I also shared mine. He presented his argument with grace and intellect and it was mind blowing. I honestly felt the Holy Spirit in that moment and it brought me to tears. Most Calvinists arent convinced initially very easily though, it takes a lot of studying and questioning of their own beliefs. When i looked into Calvinism after the discussion, I was enraptured in it and I loved it and became closer to God than ever before because of how it reformed my way of thinking about the Bible. Calvinism focuses on God rather than how many focus on man. The Bible is about God, His sovereignty, His grace, and His story. it was never about us. I urge you to not use your earthly morals when interpreting scripture, use scripture to interpret scripture (the 5 solas) Calvinism brought me to reformed theology and to a reformed church. honestly im still looking, i am not sure if the one im at right now is right, but i do say it is beautiful. i am apart of the CRCNA if ur curious :)) i wanted to give a personal testimony rather than a whole bunch of verses cause u can find the specific stuff very easily in books or online. also dont just look into Calvinism, look into Armenianism too. yes, peter does say to not be divided on small issues, but it doesnt mean to not study them and discuss with peers (thats what i like to do) about it because as long as its not coming out of a place of anger, it is healthy to challenge your theology, which I can see you are doing! Eastern Orthodox Critique: First off, I still believe you are Christian and indeed have a great love for Christ. You also take the time to welcome all, regardless of what they do, to your community. This is what Christianity and its previous Judaic version is all about, being their for oppressed. For that you are greatly blessed. Issue 1: Now, the main problem with non-denominational Christianity, in my eyes, is the very name is a lie. It is not non-denominational, it is infinitely denominational. Beliefs are harder to understand for outsiders, heresies rise up faster, if there is one bad non-denominational church who will rise up against it? Problem 2 (Reason 1): These issues aren’t nitty gritty. For example, calvinism turns many away from Christianity. Praying to saints is in the Bible (Rich Man prays to Abraham in the Gospel of Luke, “All generations will call be blessed” - Virgin Mary) Praying to angels just happens in Sodom and Gomorrah by Lot Praying to Mary will make you a better Christian, study it and learn it! Although no rational discourse gives true knowledge of God, following Jesus does Very righteous of you to admit you do not know the answer to something: “ Issue 3 (Reason 2): You’ll just make it here. Faith is really just accepting reality for what it is, and then trusting in it. No evidence for the Holy Spirit’s involvement? “God has made it obvious, so that the people have no excuse.” The works of the Holy Spirit are seen in the love of Christians, and how only Christianity quenches your thirst for truth. “However, it was not first of all the testimony of history that moved him to embrace the Orthodox Faith, since other religions can also claim faithfulness to their historical origins; rather, it was the fact that Orthodox Christianity alone satisfied his thirst for truth: it brought him into living communion with God through Divine grace, gave him a pro-found spiritual discipline in which he could grow into God’s likeness, and at the same time provided him with the theological, metaphysical principles by which his penetrating mind could perceive the universe as a coherent whole, and the noble place of man within that whole.” - God’s Revelation to the Human Heart

At 2:16 you mention you’re unsure of praying to Mary. I am sure from what I’ve read that this is misguided. We’re living within the New Covenant and in John 16:22-24 NLT the Bible says: “So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy. At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, *and he will grant your request because you use my name. You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name*, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.” Of course I encourage you to seek your conclusion yourself and study yourself. Hope this helps!❤

Literally most biblical too. Anytime someone says predestination is bad, just point them to John 6:44

I’m pretty much non denominational. I haven’t studied other religions a whole lot but I’m with you, I don’t fully agree with them 100 percent. The religion that comes the closest to what I believe would be Baptist.

Hi Blue, i hope this comment finds you. I bumped into your channel today and your videos are great! I’m a born again christian who spent way too much time away from Christ, and am currently finding my way back along the path, working towards being a better person, going to church, trying to read The Bible (kinda failing 😅), praying and knowing Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit a little better day by day (all 3 at same time 🥁). Your videos and other content creators’ videos have really been helping me find my way through all this mess and the only thing i can say to you is THANK YOU! I wanted to ask you something or suggest a topic that i personally have not found many videos on: you see, i was recommended a Netflix show in my youth group at the church called “The Chosen” and i gotta admit it hooked me since the first episode. My question regarding this is (if you’ve heard of it or watched it), what are your thoughts on a show like this that tries to reconstruct / enrich the stories of The Bible? Would you recommend it to fellow christians? What should one be cautious of when watching a show like this if anything? And i dunno, how do you feel about it, like it, dislike it? That’s all, sorry for the long comment…! Thank you again for your videos, they changed my perspective on some things. Thanks also for appearing nice and laid back, your personality makes it feel like you rrally care for your fans path in their Faith. God bless you! 🙏❤️🔥

Hey Blue, I agree with your view and stance on the topic of denominations. I grew up in a non-denomination church and they tough that no matter what people say, (even the Pastor) always depend on what the Bible says. If you don’t have a church I would suggest a non-denominational one. Love the vids:)

Denominations are unbiblical. Everyone claims to be the real church yet Jesus is the only way to the Father. He hates division in the church. God bless you.

I am a Catholic. I think you have a good line of thinking. I would like to endorse Trent Horn as far as apologetics go, plenty of other good Catholic apologetic channels too but Trent is cool. 😎

You sound like such a Lutheran while not being one yet! But no pressure, it is good that you are not jumping to conclusions quick, seeing that salvation, and membership in the body of Christ, is a very serious issue! I just found your channel today and am loving it! Cheers, hope you find your home soon so you can receive the sacraments.

Denominations shouldn't even exist imo. What is a denomination? Isn't it just the way a single person, or group of people *decided* to interpret the Bible, the parts *they* thought were important, and the parts *they* didn't like? Shouldn't we all read the word, and believe the word, the whole of it? Needless division in the church and picking and choosing what to follow which is frowned upon by the book they all revere in the first place. Nonsense if you ask me. A denomination is nothing more than finding a group that likes the parts you like and doesn't follow the parts you don't like. Denominations are how abominations like the 'queen james bible" of woke blasphemy find a way into existence...Do yourselves a favor, and don't put your faith in a categorical box that suits you. Follow the Holy Spirit's moral compass in your conscience, with a heart full of love and gratitude for the Lord. That's what I say anyways...

Definitely feel what you said about arminianism vs calvinism. I've been finding reading the Church Fathers has helped me from indulging in strange doctrines, while still challenging me in what I believe. No church today the same as the early church, and I'm still comfortable being non denominational as well.

It important to pray the Holy Spirit for guide and wisdom when we read the Bible. There denominations (Catholic, &, Orthodox) teaches false teachings that nothing is said in the Bible. JW and Mormon teachings false teachings so we need to avoid that.
