Unmesh, I literally just got a gig to color grade about three episodes of a drama series that has already been edited and compiled, this method will save me a lot of time because I was thinking of using adjustment layers to color grade but that would mean that I still have to chop and resize every one of them, thanks for the save...

Ive gone through dozens of Video/PP training and have never seen or know about applying adjustments to source. It has always been about applying to an adjustment layer above the video track. Boom, Mind blown. Thanks Unmesh. :-)

I have been familiar with video editing from two years, but still now I don't know about color grading to source, I was like sometimes why there is a source option in effect controls. But today I got to know. Thanks for the tip.

Not sure if there's been a change in the most recent update, but my version of Premiere doesn't say "Source*filename" on that screen at 5:24, it says "Master*filename". Still worked as described otherwise, though. I'm using your sample clip, manually cut into several sections to simulate an edited timeline. Great tip, this will be a big timesaver for me to do global corrections quickly!
