Good stuff Mindy. I've heard that some people on GLP-1 / GIP drugs don't feel like shopping anymore. However, I think you're right that people should shop anyway. By continuing to shop (even if they don't buy anything), they are still walking around, moving around, burning basal metabolic energy. Going to several different stores increases that moving around exercise even more Excellent advice.

I miss living in Austin some. I also shop at Sams too. Yogurts, eggs, juice, chicken thighs, cooking spray. Oils etc. I do grocery pick up at Kroger and Walmart for most of my stuff so I can control my spending. I started it after shoulder surgery last year. I have a family of 4 and spend between 160 to 200 a week. I think that is good. I also stockpile sale stuff. I have so much coffee, and laundry soap. But Kroger has it like 2.99 so often and I get the limit lol. I also would like to add go to store early mornings, Kroger especially marks down meat then. So I often buy some now and then during the week.

I am more of a meat and veggie, with a few TBSPs of carb on the side (if we have one) kinda gal. I dont mix things together as much cuz Im in the "no touch" club. lol But your food does always look fantastic! You appear to be feeling better mentally. I hope its on the inside too! 😘🥰

It's a day by day thing right now. Some days I'm doing great, others not so much. Being in maintenance always does good things for my mood, though... not having to worry about the calories as much takes off a lot of stress. ❤️❤️

Hey Mary, The calories and macros are listed on the recipe I linked. I do count calories. I just don't make sure my macros are *perfectly* in proportion... I mostly concern myself with the protein.

Hey Angie, It all depends on who you ask. Some people say 1g per kg of goal weight, but since I have NO idea what my ideal weight is, I aim for 30% of my calories. I use the Macros First app to track my calorie intake, and that makes it SUPER easy for me to see where I'm at with that goal. ❤️
