Any chance you do any 1 on 1 tutorial work? I physically don't have time to spend hours and hours sifting through the internet to find some very specific answers, please help :)

Something I've been asked about a few times, but I don't tend to have too much time myself to be honest. What I can suggest is that you break down exactly what you want in an email, and when I get chance, I'll do my best to take a look at things for you?

Hello there! Is there a way to turn off input monitoring on the RC600 Im sending logic audio to my boss RC600 out of an audio interface output and into inst 2. I have no issues with that, i have the output set correctly on my interface and I'm able to record sound onto the boss. However I'm trying to get rid of the input monitoring. Is there a way that i can turn off the input sound on the boss and only hear the track after its been recorded? Id like to be able to loop drums and what not from logic but currently when i do that i hear the drum vst as well as the input from the boss in logic. would be great to just hear the vst while recording on the boss, then when the loop begins i hear the loop. does that make sense? Hopefully you can help!

If i understand correctly, the first thing that comes to mind would be to just disable all output routing options for Inst 2 and then ensure whichever track or tracks you record to are sent to an output. Would that work for you?

Hi Steve, and I certainly will be going over the Editor again in a future video. I have already made one video, if you haven't already checked that out, but as the Editor keeps evolving, I'll try to keep people up to date with things. Cheers, Ross

Great video! Indeed cajon and mic sound tighter without this booming and low end bass. Just nicer. Thanks for the tips! 😊

HI! Im new to the RC my self but in a traditional understanding a higher "Q"-setting would mean a more narrow where lower Q would be wider. Are you sure that this isnt the case with the RC too ?

Hi, you're exactly right. The higher the Q, the narrower the affected area. Seems like I got my wording wrong when trying to describe things, well spotted! Ross
