I never like those two angle videos. I always find it odd to, all of a sudden, see the person talking to me from the side and looking away from me. I know it's a popular way to make videos these days but I prefer this - i.e. you sit opposite me like we do in real life, and you talk looking right at me, albeit through KZitem. Why would I want to watch you from the side? Do I do that in real life. 🤷♀️🙂🙃

Thanks so much for your videos. They are so practical for an early career psychologist like myself. You mentioned how the power of creative space can enhance creative problem solving. Do you have any resources or research articles you could refer me to on this topic? I have a student who is interested in studying creative problem solving and I think this could be an angle she could explore. Thanks!

Curious on what your schedule looks like with prioritizing those sweet babies. After I graduate, I’ve been thinking about seeing clients Monday nights and all day Tuesday so I can spend most time with my kids (then working on the website I run during naps and evenings)

You are so inspiring. I am amazed at all the content you put out in a small number of hours. I think I like the single camera better anyway, and always wondered about the editing piece. I bet that experiment taught you a lot though, so maybe not time wasted after all! Seriously though, you are #goals.

I'm not a therapist but I love your your videos! I wish I can reduce my hours!! I am beyond burnt out I am a vendor for a big company and I work between 50 to to 60 hours a week and then I have a second job working at Walmart on theweekends! But I need to try to Prioritize all my days off!

I love your content I am working fewer hours right now in private practice and since Covid I've realized that I don't want to engage in the hustle culture anymore. I love being creative and I'm really just striving for that work/ life balance. I don't have kids but I still want to give the best I can and be the best therapist by being present with all my clients; THANK YOU! :) I'm working on re-prioritizing my tasks as to what I want to do versus what I feel like I have to do

I totally get what you are talking about, Marie. But to be honest being this fast and always wind up is not so easy. You can do it but only for a short period of time because we are not robots. For me it is like running a marathon. Sometimes it is neccessary to be slower and maybe scroll over social media. Some things in a schedule are not super productive, but serves something in personal level…
