I have hooded eyes so I had to click to see whats going on. In the past month, after watching a plastic surgeon explaining forehead wrinkles and botox and filler in that area, I realised that I've been doing this subconsciously for so long and i was afraid that that was the reason for my premature forehead wrinkles (rn I just think it's sun damage and my very dry skin type) so i tried to relax them more often. My eyes literally started hurting because of the extra skin😂😂😂 so I'll continue doing it, and i relate on a molecular level. It's a natural reflex that the muscles in the forehead area adopt. Some extra tips from a fellow hooded-eye-type person: - do lymphatic drainage with cold water/stone if you get puffy (I get VERY puffy in the morning, so this has definetly helped me) - wear your damn glasses, even if it's a small perscription (because it doesn't help if youre trying to squint to see, those muscles counteract the forehead ones) - follow make up gurus that have hooded eyes, they have the best tips for how to make it work (and has made me feel a lot better on the inside because I love make up and it doesn't always work with hooded lids) ❤❤

Having puffy upper eyes can be related to the kidneys as well as allergies. If your body is toxic and your kidneys are sluggish (often due to poor digestion or chronic bad diet) it can make you puffy as the kidneys are connected to the lymph system. There are lymph glands situated on the face so a lymph massage for your face and lots of hydration can help. What is even better than water for hydration and cleansing the kidneys is citrus fruits, watermelon, grapes, vinegar, kombucha / other fermented foods. Also cut out dairy completely (dairy is one of the worst things for lymph) and have a lower meat intake ✨

There is no such thing as “cleansing” your kidneys, if your kidneys are functional they filter themselves, that’s the whole point of kidneys

L to the I to the LILAC! HAHHAHA omg I love the moment where you call out the stupid comments beforehand! I get this tho. I wanted to be able to raise only one eyebrow, so I trained that basically every day in the mirror and I also use the side muscle and because I trained all day every day, that brow is also always raised, I don’t notice it unless I see myself in photos I think that if this works for you, keep on doing it right! I think it’s nice that you’re posting a video to help people with this problem who aren’t sure about the whole surgeon or for those who can’t afford all those expensive cream, drops, cosmetic procedures and what not. So I think your video isn’t useless at all ^>^

Don't do this " raising eyebrows technic". I have done this technic too for years to fight my hooded eyes. The result is a bumpy and wrinkled forehead because of overworked muscles and an ugly eyebrow shape which made me look evil. ^^ I stopped doing this and now I have to fight against the muscles I built up in the forehead. Finally the muscles started to fade after months of relaxing the muscles and...I look soo different, but so much better with my natural eyes and with a less bumpy and wrinkled forehead. I love my new look :)

When I was younger (35 now) part of my mimic was or still is raising one of my eyebrows (the it). My sister told me that when I grow older I will have wrinkles on my forehead and at the age of 30+ I started to notice the first signs of wrinkles exactly over my eyebrow. When I relax my eyebrow i look very sad and down, when I Loft it up (usually when I speak) I get wrinkles. So I decided to get a professional Botox treatment to bring symmetry into my face. Maybe that technique works good as long you’re young but make sure to control it when you get older and check the evaluation of your face. In general, very nice Video. Thanks

omg ur the first person who explained my same exact problem. Like i would tie my hair back tightly alllll the time to get rid of my hooded eyes and slight forhead wrinkles. I did it so much that my face is SO SAGGY and unrecognisable if i keep it resting. I'm constantly always doing it if my hairs not tied up and it get's exhausting at times. I want a face lift 💔💔

I had eyelash extensions in 2017 and had a severe allergic reaction to the glue (also happens with strip lash glue, and now I'm too scared of magnetic lashes to try nooo) and my eyes swelled nearly shut for like 3 weeks, lids and eye area red and cracked, and it's made my hooded eyes worse! It's all healed and was completely better after 2 months but the hood is worse to this day, I still have to remind myself daily the new method for wings. But this does help a bit for me actually, raising your ears/sides of forehead! 🙌 💕 Feel like it will be a good eye liner day.

So here’s the thing about that face lifting. It’s actually controlled by a muscle in the back of the head. It was used by humans long long ago to adjust the ears to listen for predators from different directions. Since we don’t need it for that purpose anymore, it is one of the things being phased out by evolution, so not everyone even has it and therefore cannot do that trick. So my funny take is that if you have it, you are unevolved lol welcome to my club!

I thought I was the only one who did this! I started when I was in second grade because I got made fun of for my eyes and I’ve kept my eyebrows raised since. But I honestly prefer the way I look with my eyebrows raised compared to my natural hooded eyes.
