This video is amazing and very much true! I was told that community college was for losers and for those that did not aim high for the future. Despite that, I went and was able to work part time, have all of two years fully paid, and gained working experience.

Heading into my final semester of college. Also will be graduating debt free. Community college, and working the entire time of college. I gave up a lot of fun times but I’m debt free so it’s nice. Best of luck to everyone out there

oh my goodness you have no idea how much I needed this video! I feel like I'm in the same boat that you were in while going to college debt free. I'm currently in community college, living at home with my parents. although there are times when I just wanna pack my stuff and leave, at the end of the day I know that I'm saving A Lot of money. thank u for this video:)

I'm glad you found it helpful! It wasn't an easy journey, but it's so rewarding when you can do whatever you want post-graduation because you're not loaded down with debt. Keep it up! :D

I graduated debt free. It was one of the biggest financial mistakes of my life. In order to graduate debt free it took me 7 years of college. Thats three years of my starting income I lost, over $150,000. All of it so I wouldn't go into $24,000 of debt. So not worth it for me, watch out folks. It's a double edged sword.

Thank you for your advice! It was very helpful. I'm in the process of contemplating if I should go to a community college or university. And my thoughts/decision has become more clear for me. Thank you! How did you find your scholarships? What was your best scholarship to apply for for me? Also I'm interested in study abroad programs too. Can you give me advice with this? Which university did you go to? Thanks again.

Thanks for watching Mariella! I have several more videos on both scholarships and community college, so definitely check those out. I recorded a study abroad video a year ago, but it turned out horrible and I never posted it - I should definitely try again. What would you like to know about study abroad - I may use it for my next video :)
