Hi Vilma. Your hair is gorgeous and is certainly in wonderful condition. I’m lucky that my hair only needs washing once a week but it is quite dry. I have had long hair for many years but have gone through stages of envying shorter styles,cut it and then regretted it! I do have it trimmed about twice a year but one of the few luxuries I allow myself,is to visit my hairdresser once a week.He gives me a steam mask and blow dry as my hair is wavy and I prefer it straight. I will definitely look at purchasing some Kerastase products as they have an excellent reputation. Thank you for this very informative video. Take care ❤️🥰

I’ve tried Kerastase , actually a lot of the products that you showed, and my goodness it destroyed my hair. It started to fall out in clumps, and it was fried and so badly damaged. I had to cut off all of my hair and start from the beginning. It was quite traumatic. I switched to Oribe and it has be a miracle. I find it amazing how everyone can be vastly different when it comes to products.

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. Out of interest, why don’t you like keratin if it had a positive impact on growth/volume?
@vilmasclosett
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary. The easiest answer is, I love my curls more than straight hair and Keratin treatments made my hair wavy and flat. I had no volume at all. I enjoyed it at the time but started to miss my natural curl pattern so I stopped having them done. Hair technology has improved since then and with good hair tools and products, I can achieve great results without compromising my natural hair ❤️

I have some questions for you. How often do you straighten your hair? How long did it take you to grow long hair? What products do you use on your daughter’s hair? What flatiron do you use?
@vilmasclosett
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Felicia, on my daughters hair I use natural products such as Sheamoisture, and styling products too. I straighten my hair maybe 3 or 4 times a year but I try not to go for the 4th if I can 😄. I did mention in the video how long it too for my hair to grow…January 2019 to January 2022….possibly even before as my hair Was long later summer 2021 but I didn’t check the length at all but I like to round things up😅 I use the L’Oréal steampod to straighten my hair.❤️

Hi Vilma, are you still using the Aveda products for your curly hair routine? Kerastase also has a curly hair line, have you tried it yet? Would love to know your thoughts on that line. So great that you achieved that long healthy hair you wanted. Nice work!

Thanks Raquel. I still have a a couple of Aveda products and I have repurchase the line at least 3 times but I reach more for the ones I now have from Sheamoisture as they are more moisturising and hydrating for the colder weather …I have reel on Instagram on how I style my curls x

Hi Maria. Oh yes. I still have mine and usu it in a rare occasion. I prefer the steampod as it’s supposed to look in moisture but, having said that. My GHDs are old so maybe a new one would give me the same results 😊

Hello, Vilma. Did you notice any changes in your hair after your procedure? I have fibroids/considering a hysterectomy but unsure of how fluctuation of hormones caused by the surgery will impact my hair.

Hi Ashley - my hair became what it was before I had my fibroids issues. It was thick and curly and after I because I’ll it thinned out and my curl pattern got looser. Now I’m back to normal or as normal as can be!!

I was looking forward to this video! I love your hair and was wondering how you grew it so fast and took care of it. I am disappointed though by the amount of products that you use: that is over 500$ of products! I can't afford all of that :-( If you were to streamline it down to your 3-4 essential products, which ones could you not live without? Thank you!
@vilmasclosett
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Julie - if I was to streamline I would keep the nutritive line with the shampoo, masque, keratin termique and night serum. Those are my absolute favourite!! I understand the cost you’ve mentioned but these were not bought all in one go. I buy all of my Kerastase products when on promotion and I tend to buy bundles which are way better value for money. And I use them all till the last drop.

Why do you say you would not recommend getting a keratin treatment? I am planning to get one soon bc my hair is very tightly coiled and i am too busy to spend 3-5 hrs washing & styling my hair every weekend. I also heard it’s supposed to have great strength & shine benefits.
@vilmasclosett
2 жыл бұрын
As my personal experience, I would not recommend it if you also wish to have your curls . Obviously this is a personal choice and you must do what makes you happy. I believe there are many products out on the market that can make the hair smooth and frizz free without compromising the hair’s natural fibre.
