Hi. Having had a somewhat similar experience in my lifetime, I am extending a thank you for educating others on how pain works. Having lived with CRPS myself, I know exactly where you are coming from. Our brains are so receptive of our life choices and by slowly trusting the process you can see Gods clarity. Until my pain, I had no idea how powerful our brains can be. The good thing is that we know that it is reversible in time. When you have pain to a level of severity that I had, you feel life crumbling down. Hopelessness is a feeling I never want to fell again. My friend Cassi told me about you and I'm glad she did. Thank you for shining a light in the darkness of pain. Until next time!

Dana, thank you so much for sharing your story. It sounds like we have very similar stories! I have been astounded and amazed by the neuroscience of pain and how powerful our brain is! It saddens me that it’s not more widely known that we can heal which is why I’ve started Thought By Thought Healing to get this pain science out there in the public! I appreciate your support and am thankful God has led you towards this path of freedom. Also, I have an Instagram and Facebook account. Would love if you would follow and contribute your thoughts at times! PS Cassi is amazing 🤩

I really appreciate what you do to help others. I had a series of very traumatic events leading up to the onset of my pain. I told every doctor this but was dismissed by all except 1. I wish I had found you earlier in my journey before I had 2 unnecessary pelvic surgeries in a desperate attempt to stop the pain from PN. I was at the point of having the actual nerve decompression surgery done but something inside me said stop and listen to your intuition. Since coming at this from a complete mind body approach I am slowly getting better month by month

I just now found this and am so grateful to find you. Your story praying to God for healing, and then a week later , finding information from websites etc. Started coming to you. I also have chronic fatigue with this as well and would like to know if you've found connections with that in your research. I have been trying mindfulness and meditation, and found other brain retraining practices, but I have been having trouble with connecting with those techniques that weren't in harmony with God, so I discontinued most meditations because of that. I'm so glad you are putting God together with healing.

Yes, absolutely - the brain will use fatigue to help (but inaccurately) “protect” us from whatever we are perceiving as stressful. Fatigue gets us to shut down and not be present for life’s stressors.

My pain spread almost in the same identical way as yours did. It started severely in my feet and moved its way up. I also couldn’t put on shoes and anything with seams hurt. I slowly became hypersensitive to chemicals, sugar, caffeine, fruit, water etc. Some of it has resolved, but I’ve had a massive flare up for 2 months and it is feeling grim. I’m been trying to teach myself to feel safe. I notice that my brain is almost always on high alert. In particular if the house is not spotless, I can’t stop cleaning it. Finger prints, crumbs, wet spots on the floor, dust, dog hair etc. No matter how clean it is I stay on high alert. Im always fixing or doing something and don’t know how to shut off perfectionism. I have operated like this my whole life with everything. In particular school and work. I know this thought process cannot continue. Emotionally it is exhausting.

@@ThoughtByThoughtHealing what’s underneath it is that it’s never good enough, and it’s been a way to control the things around me. Being perfect has been exhausting, stressful and clearly painful. It’s underlying message is I’m not good enough and if I work harder I might get there. The other part is I don’t feel at piece if it’s not perfect. I’m not sure which one I need to overcome first or how it’s possible. It’s over 40 years of talking to myself and programming my brain in a very unhealthy way. But hold on is not an option either.

I don’t know if you can do any of this when you’re living with somebody who has very strong narcissistic qualities ……. you are always in a state of high alert with them because you’re always anticipating, what toxic behaviour is going to happen which often does and you can never relax and they are also always upsetting you so on top of predicting, it’s actually happening you can never relax. They jump from one extreme to the next they can look like they’re being caring and then right after that they’re getting annoyed with you because you’re asking a question it’s constant, which I think is why I have so much pain and exhaustion.

It really ticks me off when people use this verse. When you are experiencing extreme chronic pain that verse does not help, we are not healed. If we are feeling chronic pain and we are in agony, sometimes God heals us and takes it away but often he doesn’t, and we suffer until we die, that’s reality for many of us who are still living in chronic pain who are saved.
@Moonless6491

What drives me nuts is how this becomes constantly chronic. I've been practicing TMS for about 9-10 months with some improvement. I'm hard headed and starting to understand. Some people recover in a couple weeks or a couple months, so I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, but I feel I'm starting to understand better. Working on not fearing the symptoms and having 100% belief is difficult but I'm getting there. I'm a male with IC/bladder pain symptoms. Bunches of doctors, tests, even a camera in my bladder. But, it feels real, along with other symptoms that come and go, but the bladder pain stays. It's a personal pain, much more fear causing then other pains, so it's a challenge to face it. It's ok to tell people you have back pain, but genital pain is much more personal and weird to people.

Thats PTSD. Had a neighbour like that for 5 years. Start sleeping better with the right sleeping meds so you can function, then you record the neighbour with a video and send to the landlord. You could also try and call the police, COULD be harrassment, not sure. These things destroy peoples lives. What helped me...this may sound strange but I played 10 hour prayers 24/7 on a soft volume and he moved after 4 months. Ive read comments of others with the dame results and the neighbour after him is so sweet and quiet. Try it! I went aggressive and played Carlos Oliviera but you can play soft speakers aswell. Let me know how it went! ❤🎉❤

@ThoughtByThoughtHealing
2 күн бұрын
Hi cheech, we’ve emailed about this a few times. Most the time it is mind body, but taking the pain test helps rule that diagnosis in. Many people get much better, if not healed from it, after they do the work of addressing the brain.

Thank you so much for doing this video. So much of this resonates. I was actually vaccine injured - severe neuropathy all over my body. This is well known now and many of us suffering. Do you feel mind body work can help vaccine issues ? Since they do seem like the have wreaked havoc on some nervous systems
@ThoughtByThoughtHealing

Yes - is my personal opinion. First, I would wonder why it’s just some nervous systems. If someone’s NS had anxiety or stress before or after the vaccine - that would be a clue I would take a look at, if I was you. Also - take the pain test on my website :) - it would help create some evidence.

I didn’t have fatigue but I definitely had shortness of breath. Lots of people recover from mind body fatigue. Every brain delivers stress in a different way, since each person is different. Try to avoid trying to find someone with your exact same mind body symptoms- that will just stress yourself and body more. It’s like searching for a needle in a hay stack. Does acceptance method cure this.and why does massage flares me thanks
@ThoughtByThoughtHealing
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah, radical acceptance (or outcome independence) is super helpful in healing from chronic pain, but there are others many other tools that need to be used also. Responding to our pain with acceptance - "you can stay for a while, or I'm not scared of you" - can turn of the fear response in your brain which, in turn, will help reduce the danger alarm. Regarding massage, if you brain has learned that you have flare ups during massage, then your brain is perceiving something about it as "not quite safe". Anytime your brain perceives something as not perfectly safe, it will produce more pain as a warning." Your brain is hyper-sensitized to danger, and therefore is detecting harmless, innocuous sensations as dangerous. Through work, you can rebalance the danger alarm in the brain and normalize your pain signal. I hope that's helpful!

HI Stylianos, Yes and No. Here is the deal, you never recover from ever feeling threatened or unsafe in life. So on occasion, when I run into scenarios that I resort to a fear response, then I will feel sensations. It is always an indicator that I have fallen into old patterns of fear or have discovered a new stressor that I haven't resolved yet. So, yes, over 90% of the time I have no symptoms. But on occasion i get symptoms that are probably 10% of the severity as I used to experience. I consider myself fully healed because you don't heal from the way our bodies communicate with us.
@AshleighStovall

Why do you think this is? I am a science girl and I love neuroplasticity. It makes since to me but I guess I have a hard time with the idea of expecting the pain to alway come back sometimes- just not as bad. Why don’t those neurons eventually die off from not being used? How long have you been better? Do you think maybe one day, if enough time passes and you really aren’t using them, they will? It’s just when someone tells me they still experience the pain sometimes, that makes me think that there really is something more wrong with us and we are just distracting ourselves until it comes back and that make me lose hope. 🫤
