Great video!! if I could recommend one korean KZitem channel that has helped my improve the most it would be "태옹쌤-comprehensible input" he does game play videos whilst speaking at a basic beginner level so its really easy to understand and enjoy his content. he has videos from A0 all the way to B2 so there is videos for all levels. I would highly recommend him to anyone learning korean !

I think this video appeared to me because I wanna learn Korean. I started watching K-dramas and listening to K-pop this year ,so I’m actually fullen love with them. I wanna visit Korea one day and speak like a native. I also wanna watch K-dramas without subtitles😅. This is the first time I’ve seen a video from you. I visited your channel and liked your content, especially the way you hold your microphone with a fork😂. Keep Going David💪❤ I'll recommend this channel for Arabian -->"Hanil KR"

And for me, i watched kdramas since 10 years ago but i started learning korean seriously just 2 years ago with a korean teacher. Before taking à teacher i started to learn korean alone a long time ago but i gave up because i didn't understand the grammar specially final consonant changing pronunciation lol. I learn so much with kdrama, i notice i memorize more vocabulary by listening, by watching kdrama than writing, i don't write vocabulary. I still watched kdrama, i learn intermediate and little advanced grammar and i read webtoon in korean specially just one webtoon, not too easy, not so hard, my level. In this webtoon, i can read and understand 90% that's motivated me so much! My advice, you can read in korean but make sure to read in your level, not too hard and not too easy specially at intermediate level, that will motivate you see your progress and pick a story you are interested.

I find my korean teacher on italki ^^ i didn't have the chance to go in South Korea yet. I went to China for an 6 exchange of 6 monthd in 2015, i studied chinese in France but made more progress in China and in China they don't really speak english even at the university lol and i made chinese friends some i speak in french and english and some specially one chinese friend couldn't speak in french or english so with her, i speak in chinese. I found a collocation with chinese real estate agency they couldn't speak english so one something happened i had to explain it in chinese lol but i'm not fluent in chinese at all. I did an internship in China in 2016 within a chinese start up and meeting in full chinese i couldn't understand anything lol. But after 6 month of exchange in China, i could speak in chinese, did a conversation in chinese and i could understand more but not fluent yet.

I learn korean for 2 years now, i'm at intermediate level but my speaking skill isn't intermediate yet. I recommand Learn with Billy youtube channel, a foreigner who live in South Korea, he has a lot of grammar video for intermediate, advanced level i love that. I know talk to me in korean but they are more focused on podcast etc. Billy released a recent video, you can submite your speaking video in korean and with 2 koreans they analyse your korean, gives you advices and we can hear the difference in the intonation of speaking korean, those who studied for mire long time who lives in korean etc, some made intonation mistakes, some grammar mistakes and one studied japanese and have japanese intonation when she speak korean lol and i can hear that too

Great video! From time to time, I will watch some videos that explain how they learn and acquire their TL like this video and I usually walk away having learned nothing or feeling indifferent. I have been trying to pick up Korean since the Summer of 2022, but unfortunately fell into the entrapment of textbooks, grammar, and vocabulary for over a year. Not that those aren't important, however, no amount of knowledge (vocab and grammar) can replace the fundamental skills of input and output (listening comprehension and speaking). It wasn't until this year that I emphasized listening to native content without NL subtitles. It's so cool to see that almost everything you discussed is how I have been spending my time with the Korean language.
