I want to share my method for learning any language. Beware, its simplicity might blow your mind! 1. To improve language comprehension, read, listen, and watch using translations into your native language for parts that are unclear. 2. To improve speaking and writing skills, translate texts from your native language into the target language. You can translate either on paper or out loud. That's basically it. At the core, there are two simple processes: translating from your native language to the target language and vice versa. You can practice these skills together or separately. All other methods (SRS, associations, comprehensible input, etc.) are just supplementary. The foundation should be these two simple processes. Yes, we can learn like children, without using translation for input and trying to speak without prior practice. But I think this is inefficient. We already know one language (our native language), so I believe we should use it in the learning process. Overall, what you show on your channel is essentially this same method. The only difference is that you show viewers a specific implementation of these two simple activities

I've downloaded your free Google sheets from your website showing the basic vocabulary and grammar. I'm wondering what's the difference between using those sentences and using the Glossika A1-A2 sentences? Thanks for the great content.

Since you always stress lots of reps and learning a lot of material quickly do you not follow the spaced repetition of Anki of only a certain number of cards per day? What do you set your Anki on for cards per day?
