I told myself this month your buying grow lights(more of them) and I ordered a plant.😁 thank you for your content I really enjoy it. Of course the "it" grow light that's trendy right now is so beautiful because they don't look so in your face but oh my they are expensive.

Just so you I know, I tested that app with a calibrated professional lux meter used for Australian health and safety. In low light ie 1000 lumens it had +/- (50-200) lumens variance and in medium to high light it had +/- (500-800) lumens variance. This was tested this week

If you download that particular app in the video it will not work without something to even out the light (a diffuser) over the front camera lens. A thin strip of printer paper will do, or in this case, a post-it note. Then the app will work.

Is daylight or warm white light used for terrariums or does it make a difference
@TheUrbanNemophilist
2 жыл бұрын
Light should mimic daylight in its spectrum and intensity. If warm light meets the requirement it will work. However aesthetically white light or white light with RGB will bring out the true colors of the plants better.

Very subjective because it depends on a lot of other factors beside light intensity like temperature, position and height of the light and the unused nutrient level in the terrarium itself.
