So the tips are: - Being self-conscious - Eating small quantities without worrying too much about calories - Cutting the carbs as much as possible - Drinking plenty to stay hydrated - Add healthy stuff to regular meals (veggies/nuts/fruits) - Exercise and walk plenty to stay fit I really love these tips, they are smart and effective from the first day and they might also help people recovering from eating disorders! I appreciate the fact that your diet is "do what feels right and be smart", not the crazily dangerous diets that most women torture themselves with : ) Well done and thank you for the video!

There are soooo many people down here saying she shouldn't make a whole sandwich & then throw the bread away. She OBVIOUSLY means doing that when you're eating out! If she was the one who made the sandwich she would 1. Use one slice of bread and 2. put as much of the sauce as she wants in order to NOT throw it away later. For God's sake!

I remember watching this video a year ago and I followed her tips and actually lost weight! I joined my schools cross country team, started going to the gym, and ate really well. I ended up losing 15 pounds. But then I got stressed out and gained 20 pounds. :( helllpppp

Well I started loosing some weight when I stopped eating at night and i also played tennis after school so I drank a lot of water still kinda do and that helped

I eat boiled vegetables for dinner and work out everyday. Strengthening, pilates and cardio in different days so you are never bored. Yesterday I joined a frisbee team and played with the boys. It will make you more accountable and boys don't mind to have a girl joining them even if I suck really really bad. Lastly, I only eat bigger meals if I go out, but rest of the time, I leave carb in the morning and rest of the meal light. I get those flavorless fiber and add into water to help colon cleansing. And remember to sleep early so next day you feel refreshed and ready to work out and work.

Thank you for mentioning Blogilates in this video! After seeing this MONTHS ago I started doing Blogilates, and now my body is a lot stronger for dance, yoga, running, and just in general. :)

One thing that helped for me was to not mix carbs with animal proteins (meats, eggs, and dairy) in the same meal. I ended up eating lots of lean organic meats as well as trying out a bunch of fish and pairing that with plenty of fresh veggies of all types. I didn't cut out carbs completely, but I opted more often for the meat because it keeps me full longer.

My tip: If you cant control yourself ('I want a giant donut with an extra pizza NOW... And some cupcake too!'), drink a protein shake. Sweet, tasty, good for you and your body and u'll forget the dating with donut, pizza and cupcakes. :)

Your pretty much right, I cut carbs after 2pm & replace them with greens. I park far away so I can walk but most things you've said is similar to my diet & I've lost 15pounds in 2months I've got heaps more to go but it's work for me. Thanks for sharing you tips x

I'm roughly the same height as you & have been stuck at 110 for the last 3-4 years no matter what I did. The only times I got below 110 were when I was really sick & emptied my stomach for two weeks. This video was very inspiration! Thank you!

argh im 16 and soon turning 17, about to start college and am really looking forward to the change but im concious about my weight. I know im not overly fat or anything, my bmi is in a normal range but theres just some extra...lumps? anyway, i've tried dieting before, but my problem is sugar and ive found so much extra sugar in foods! my tip would just to be to look at the amount of sugar in 'healthy snacks'. Im going to try out Jens tips, start actually exercising instead of just watching the excerise video and closing the window haha. good luck to anyone trying to lose weight, we're all in this together and we can all achieve it too!

I heard white tea also helps, and it's good for when you feel hungry to fill you up, so is green tea. :) Love your tips, so parking that way from now! I actually walk to publix if there is nothing too big to carry home, it's 1 mile.. at least it's something XD

i personally think the best way to lose weight are by drinking more water / green tea :) avoid sweet drinks :) i dont do diet plan. i love eating rice in large portion! haha! but i can lose 2 kg in 1/2 weeks by just drinking lots of water or green tea. hehe just my personal opinion :)

Wasting food is not good though…give it to your dog if anything. There are starving people all over the world. Best thing to do is just….eat what you want. Take a Carb/Fat Fighter pill after big carb intakes and drink 4 glasses of water after.

Hey I do the same thing !!!....... I park as far as I can and get a little workout out of it...... Music on the other hand I used to listen to all the time at the gym but now,.........and this is a personal opinion of course, I don't listen to anything with words or to up beat...... I used to listen to trance or alternative or even metal and it became quite the distraction......Now I listen to soothing things if you like classical guitar or piano or movie scores and etc. I find that it's more comforting and it really calms your mind and you're just more focused on you. Just a thought though......... take it easy lady

Hi Jenn! I'm going to finish my last year of high school tomorrow (final oral exams tomorrow 😖😖) I would like to change something...my body! I'm really quite chubby 'course I really didn't care...I LOVE FOOD! But my dad's family has a lot of health problems because they didn't care too and now I'm scared! This inspired me. I lost 13 lbs in about 1.5 yrs. Instead of trying a fad diet, make small changes in your diet. What jenn says really works! It was hard at first but I feel so much healthier and good about my body. YOU CAN DO IT! lets have a healthier lifestyle!

Carbs aren't bad for you at all. The majority of the food I eat is carbs. I eat loads of fruit, I eat 2 slices of bread everyday, I love potatoes. I'm not overweight at all. :)

A tip: when you crave a food eat the healthy alternative: Craving ice cream, freeze yogurt with some honey or freeze grapes and blueberries- so good! Pizza, swap with a wholewheat tortilla, light mozarella and many veggies Chocolate, eat dark chocolate or make your own recipes with raw cacao Hamburgers, choose low carb bread and add a lot of vegetable (to be honest though I've never had a hamburger in my life so i don't know what the fuss is) Sweets, have dried fruit Thank you for your help! :)
